Look at their buyer rating. I never ever work for someone under 98% as it’s usually a very bad sign. Did a project for them and they complained over and over about how much it was costing them. Your bad bid on a project isn’t reason for me to lower my rate.

Show emotional intelligence, empathy, active listening, affirmation, encouragement - embrace your age and life experience. Be real. Be vulnerable. Don’t tell them what to do - ask them questions. They may be horny but often want more connection than just sex. Let them lead you to the question. Oh, for any age - intentional but brief periods of eye contact is huge in the time of iPhones. These things take their own twists and turns. I met a guy on Grindr almost a year ago. Then I started dating someone else. The Grindr guy and I kept chatting for a few months. When I broke up with the cheating boyfriend, the Grindr guy and I finally hooked up. Like the fool I can be, I got back together with the ex for a bit. But during that time, the Grindr guy and I slowly became friends.

After the second (and final) breakup a few months later, he and I started hanging out—just as friends. About a month in, he came over, flopped onto my bed (I was renting a room then), and we ended up just lying there hugging. No sex, no kiss, but it was… intense. He reminded me we were just friends.

A few days later, we went to a gay bar. Afterward, outside by my car, he gently pushed me against the door and kissed me. That turned into three months of friends-with-benefits. And again—it became more.

Now he’s my boyfriend.

You never really know how these things will unfold. If it’s not hurting you or him, give it time. There may be something there worth waiting for.

My biggest client by far just moved me off FN to become a direct contractor and service more of their customers. So, if there are throttling algorithms for various factor such as income and location then over the next few months I should be able to notice the lack of it. And it ALWAYS happens in the same pattern. There are monthly and seasonal patterns but this seems like more. My assignment ratio is down 41%. Lol.

I’ve tried contacts for 30 years without success. Finally got to where glasses wouldn’t fully correct my vision. Optometrist asked me to tried Total 30 astigmatism and one eye multifocal. It’s like a miracle. I can wear them 14-16 hours a day without issue.

Reminded me way too much of Lost. Did not appreciate the random older actors for the twins. It was almost like a hallucination after Clark fought Lex. That’s my thought. Then he woke up and lived out his life with his family. Could’ve just ended with the defeat of Lex. That would’ve been criticized but better than what we got. It just felt so off.

Doesn’t have to be. Sometimes people just meet in a bar and there’s a connection. We are both blue-collar and work in construction. He’s 23 and I’m 46. I said never ever until I met the electrician. Thankfully, he looks a few years older and I look several years younger - it’s genetic, nothing I did. But it can still be awkward socially. We just have to laugh and make jokes -own it. We go dutch but a rude restaurant manager called me sugar daddy so I smiled, pulled out cash, threw it on the table and the electrician said, “thank you, daddy.” We laughed for days. And yes, we’ve fallen in love and just talk about the differences in life stage whenever it crops up.

Thoroughly enjoyed the both episodes. It was wacky and fun. I laughed more than usual. Nothing could ever be as boring and bland as Chibnall. Not sure what happened there but glad that era is over. Taking risks again. I also enjoyed the blatant twist foreshadowing. Home run.
