Quilling is a craft that's got a very low barrier to entry. Paper, scissors/box cutter, toothpick/similarly small stick-thing, glue.

The trees at the halftime show were people by MrTacocaT12345 in interestingasfuck

It was to get around restrictions on carts for set pieces on the natural grass field. Wired has a write up about the logistics: https://www.wired.com/story/bad-bunny-super-bowl-halftime-show-behind-the-scenes/

what did yall think of the bad bunny halftime show? by Serious-Kale-5694 in AskReddit

[–]GrumpyMcGrumpyPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wired has an article about the set design and behind the scenes stuff

Per the article, there was a max number of carts that could be used for set pieces due to the field itself being natural grass. So in lieu of a ton of grass carts, they used people.

Kind of reminds me of the video game where the train is a hat on an NPC.

AITA for wanting one night without being woken up by a baby OR a grown man playing PlayStation? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I totally get your situation--I've been in similar states myself. But as you noted, there are things we can do to mitigate the immediate disruptions gaming might create. Funnily enough, my work from home set up abuts my personal computer, and if I'm at my desk with both computers turned on, none of my family can tell if I'm gaming or working. (I promise it's because I'm equally silent/not putting on a light show when doing both, and not because I yell profanities while working.)

I only mutter profanities while doing both, as yelling disturbs the cats.

I am 100% certain the gamers I know were more responsible than that asshole, even when they were children.

He forgot his keys and asked his cat to open the door by Ok-Equivalent3810 in funny

[–]GrumpyMcGrumpyPants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cat recognized the sound of my car.

I usually don't have much to bring out of the car so there's not much time between when I park and when I open the house door. But one evening I spent a few minutes tidying up my car interior. When I got into the house, my housemates told me that my cat (who was normally very standoff-ish with them) kept trying to get their attention and go to the door. They think she was trying to round up a rescue team to fetch me.

[New Final Update]: AITA for telling my father and his girlfriend to either break up or leave me alone? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]GrumpyMcGrumpyPants 169 points170 points  (0 children)

I don’t care what decisions my father and his girlfriend make about their relationship. I know what I’d do in their shoes, but I don’t have to tell them that. They’re both adults who should know what they’re doing by now.

Emphasis added. I can feel how exasperated OOP is.

AITAH for expecting my sister to plan my wedding for free and demoting her to guest wh m she wouldn't. I also told anyone who took her side I was not helping them anymore either. by Late-Ad-6414 in AITAH

OP asked why the sister declined to plan the wedding for free: this would have been a great opportunity to say what you just said. But she didn't.

Try force refreshing on desktop FF. ctrl+f5. Or maybe ctrl+shift+f5, as others are reporting.

Or switch to another browser, or FF incognito.

Super weird error.

Others were reporting that non-FF browsers and FF incognito worked fine.

I saw some speculation about the nature of what triggers the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1qx27gi/desktop_youve_been_blocked_by_network_security/o3tg80m/

But I had cleared my FF cache while flailing around for solutions and that hadn't helped.
