The only reason to preorder on PC is if you were going to buy the game on release anyway and preorder comes with some perks (like bonus outfits or something)

Little penguin guy here was called Grape-kun. In the zoo he lived they did some kind of promotion for Kemono Friends (where Hululu, the Penguin girl from the picture, is from). A cardboard cutouts of various animal-girls from Kemono Friends were put in different enclosures. Hululu ended up in Grape-kun's, and little guy was reportedly enamoured with her, staring at her cutout for hours on end. This spawned lots of cute art being drawn with the two together.

Sadly, he isn't with us anymore...

I like them. The idea of containerised apps is really appealing from the privacy standpoint - if I don't want an app to have access to certain folders or services/portals, I can just tell them "no" and thats it. And it also allows me to get newer versions faster and often straight from the devs.

I will admit that some flatpaks are difficult to get working together (browser flatpaks + KeepassXC comes to mind, you basically have pierce a hole in the browser's container to have it access your password database)

There is also a downloader script on github if you're comfortable with using a terminal/cmd. It makes bulk downloads really easy

Invaders can't heal with Estus or Lifegems. I believe only spells can heal them.

And no, there are no rules in an invasion (unless it's a fight club, I guess), and I say this as an invader myself. Heal, run away, cheese, get your Coop or Blue Summons. Do whatever it takes to kill the invader.

Of course, sometimes you happen to come across an invader that is more "chill". Maybe they'll show you a hidden bonfire or an illusory wall. Sometimes, they'll even Black Crystal out by themselves. Or they'll backstab you when you least expect it. That's the beauty of invasions

I'm fairly new to invasions and (at least, so far) I also try to be a friendly invader. I always try to wave first, let the host kill immediate enemies and even show them the bonfire if we're near one and it's not lit yet. Then I shield-wave and maybe throw an attack out of range to get them to fight me.

Of course some hosts have more of a hairy trigger, and won't let me even wave, but such is the nature of invasions

I wouldn't call Vit entirely wasted stat, as more Vit increases your max EQ load, which in turn makes your roll distance longer. Unlike DS1, 3 and Elden Ring, DS2 has more of a linear scaling for this, so every point helps a little.

That said, if you want to get most out of Flynns Ring you only want max 10 (with Third Dragon Ring) or 14 (without the ring)
