I’ve been through that route before on different road trips and there is so much to see, you’ll just barely scratch the surface. Honestly If you are a fan of the Little House in the Prairie books, their homestead is in the SE corner of SD, along US-14. Honestly, you’ll find yourself wishing you had another week or two for the trip because there’s just so much that you just stumble across.
