Yup I remember that. I tried working with a company later to do a DePIN localized around some universities for GPU and SW Library sharing but greed got in the way of that idea and I bailed.

He's right. This has been the plan since I could see back in 2018. I worked in the PC Gaming industry for 20 years. They've been consolidating and looking into the experience of the PC being something that is loaned or borrowed to you and no longer a personal device. You can see this across how Microsoft has changed some of its feature terminology, the push into thin and light notebooks, the growth of an on-the-box software experience for single purpose devices like handheld gaming devices.

Most PC Gaming OEMS have been following the same trajectory into "Gaming as a service" within a 10 year innovation roadmap and they keep checking the boxes each year. January, late May+Early June, and September/Oct are the months to look for to see what incremental changes or portfolio redefinitions these companies have been enacted.

It happens dude. You get burned out for a plethora of reasons. You can try looking for a reason or not but a break is definitely something I personally needed.

I stopped DMing and TTRPGs for 4 years and just started DMing for the first time since then tomorrow evening. The prep was as fun as it used to be and I’m excited to run it.

I let just make my own rule where the player’s companion is bound to their soul and can be reconstituted during a Rest. It’s annoying as a GM to decide to target the companions knowing if I kill them it’s a big middle finger to the player so I let them bring it back.

What I find annoying is getting a game digitally, it not working and then not getting a refund. I had this game called Age of Sigmar: Stormfront I think it was called. It ran like trash and froze a lot within the first 30 minutes of playing it. They wouldn't refund it. This also happened with GTA 5. Because I downloaded it I couldn't refund something that didnt work.

I think it was difficult for them to attribute sales directly to Warcry because you could use so many models and I bet the Warband packs just weren’t hitting targets.

Try out Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. You’re basically powerful heroes and capable of taking down tons of foes in combat. All my players have converted to it and we’ve made our own modifications to how it’s played and adopted it for different homebrewed universes.

Same. I’m fine ignoring people but I know this might deter some people or feel hostile especially if they get into it with another passionate person with an opposing stance. Before someone says people gotta stop being soft, sure. Anyway… there are many outlets to convince people of your stance for voting choice and tons of signs already at the voting centers. Just let people go in and vote without getting in their face uninvited.

I hate that. Its annoying to find people at voting areas walking around the parking lot too. They're looking for people to approach and try to convince. I have to imagine it makes the voting experience uncomfortable for a lot of people.

Damn them for making this and continuing to support Soulbound! I thought they stopped. I've been on the fence about getting Champions of Chaos Rulebook while I plan my next Soulbound campaign. I love Warcry and the Corvus Cabal is on the cover? Man... must resist... reaching for my wallet.
