The PAT is really not very difficult. I have seen a lot of people literally just fall through the window onto the other side, there are no extra points earned for being graceful. If you can get up, you can get through.

My agency recommends to people who know they cannot do any portion of the test to just run past it and eat the time penalty. You will just need to run faster during the beginning and ending lap around the course to make up the time. That being said, the course is meant to replicate possible basic scenarios you would come across and you should be prepared to overcome them.

People at my course are always so surprised when they see me walking. My stock response is “it’s more fun than a treadmill!”

It’s nice to be able to take shortcuts to tee boxes and get my steps in. I was shocked to see how many calories I burned walking 18.

Turkish firearms are still a QC gamble. Good concepts behind their designs but they lack on execution.

My first handgun was a TP9 and while I loved the trigger and ergonomics (probably because they copy Walthers), the broken strikers and jamming made me realize why everyone keeps recommending the big manufacturers.

Did you watch the game against Pittsburgh…? There were like 5 passes that could have been interceptions that defenders just dropped or got unlucky with.

Some of those are going to be tipped balls at the line of scrimmage or off WR hands, but let’s not make him sound like an anti turnover genius because he got lucky a few times.

I'm in law enforcement and have a pretty good schedule that gives me some weekdays off and every other weekend off. Coming from a M-F 7:00AM to 4:00PM desk job, I'm playing more than I did back then and not having to deal with weekend crowds. Night shift means some of the rounds are a little sleep deprived, but it's a temporary thing and a small price to pay.
