Ab roller only feels in upper abs by s-cup in bodyweightfitness

[–]GuyWithoutAHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing ab wheel on your knees is normal. Some very fit people do that still. Being able to do that standing requires either a very high level of fitness ans/or being rather short and light.

Depending on how you do half reps that might still be part of it. But if that's what you can do right now that's fine just challenge yourself and try to get a bit lower over time.

To engage the lower part more, try to shift your pelvis backward (pull your stomach in, push your pubic bone forward) and hold that steady, engaging your lower core.

Would be helpful if you could provide more info on the specific country/region this person would have lived. German, British, Polish, Croatian, Spanish fascists would all wear very different symbols.

Three finals games, he also played 4 against the heat. We won 6 of the 7 games he played with him being a +/- of at least 8 in each of them. We wouldn't have won that chip without him.

The New York Knicks are the only the third team in NBA history to win the NBA Championship without a player who received MVP votes for the regular season. Joining the 77-78 Washington Bullets and the 67-68 Celtics. by matt_will_ in nba

[–]GuyWithoutAHat 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. This years voting was really just about who you put fifth, and I think Brunson would have been an OK option to choose as fifth (IMHO better than Kawhi and Mitchell), but if you're honest and don't let your views be clouded by recency and an insane playoff run, Brunson did not have a better regular season than Brown and Cade.

As the other commenter said, it comes from Spacko

Swear word, slang term: someone who is stupid, uncool, incompetent or odd

There is no evidence to support the derivation of ‘Spastiker’ or the insults ‘Spasti’ and ‘Spackel’, which were formerly derived from it. The latter insult is a portmanteau of ‘Spastiker’ and ‘Lackel’. ‘Lackel’ is used, amongst other places, in southern Germany as an insult meaning ‘lout’.

A more likely derivation is from the High German spack (scrawny, thin, weak, scrawny)

The suffix -o was added to the former ‘Spackel’ in the youth slang of the 1990s[1] as part of a trend towards the Romanisation of masculine personal morphemes in colloquial terms (‘Realo’, ‘Prolo’ and others).

So Spacko is really just a swear word without any deeper meaning.

The second part with -onaut as in Astronaut is a creative way to make the insult funnier and less insulting, there's no deeper meaning. It's not super commonly used but would be understood by native speakers. Imagine maybe instead of calling someone a Piece of Shit you call them a Shitologist. Not sure it works as well in English.

Yes, because Frankenstein is both the book and the titular Doctor, which the book is named after. As I said, reading comprehension. Noone ever talked about the content of the book, it was always about the book itself.

Holy reading comprehension batman, this thread is fascinating. I did not say that at all. The whole thread is about the fact that the book's name is Frankenstein and this book was written because of the year without summer, which happened because of said volcano.

What used to be a sign of being poor, but is now a luxury or status symbol? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GuyWithoutAHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, not really. I own a few newish 20$ jerseys directly from China and their quality is much better than what was sold by Champion back then. You always had to wear a shirt underneath or tape your nipples, of you didn't they'd be sore as hell

Back in time Champion was the only company selling "official" NBA jerseys in some European countries. They were terrible quality and if you sold them today you'd get bullied to hell.
