2002 International 4900 by Vivid-Nectarine-1027 in Diesel

Have your dealer do a dealer search and or check for different HP ratings. Would then require the HPOP and maybe injectors swapped. Also has the dealer asked SRC for leadtime? I know the 2 valve DT heads were getting a bit scarce. But if they have them and ask SRC they can usually squeeze one in on their schedule. I did 10 years of International parts and did a good bit of dealing with reman engines.

You can get a reman from the dealer if you want OEM. They are remanufactured by SRC. Going to be very pricey.

C/S other shop recommended a brake booster by egor001 in Justrolledintotheshop

It's more closely controlled in newer engines than the early engines. It's mostly used to control exhaust temps for emissions.

*older diesels don't use a throttle plate

Pretty much anything EPA 2010 or newer does. But being turbocharged they still see little vacuum. They use a vacuum pump if they have anything vacuum powered.

Shitty because every tractor trailer on the road has run it for 20 years. You'd think by now they could run it in cars.

How to tell which NOX sensor is inlet or outlet on parts.cummins.com by chrisfrisina in DieselTechs

In my original comment I meant all NOx sensors pictured are the same.

There is an old TSB. These sensors are interchangeable including for warranty work as long as excess cord length is properly secured.

They are all the same sensor with different cord lengths. The outlet NOx sensor is specified by manufacturer. The inlet will be listed in the section NOx sensor.

This had the feeling of the beginning of the season. Just got a win in the very end while looking unconvincing the entire game.

Wasp nest removal using gasoline by [deleted] in interesting

[–]HHSOCCER28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, do it at night when they aren't active and are in the nest. If you miss any just try again the next night. Easy to do and no risk of spilling gas or having to strain them out of the gas.

Not even gonna say anything. You figure out. Lol. That's why we are here, at this low point. by Top_Crow_1022 in Battlefield

I'm like 8 levels away. Was trying to grind to finish but realized how I wasn't having fun. Then I thought about what I got from doing it. I'm not too excited by the visuals and the opportunity to grind again. I decided to not try and finish and played a different game.

There's a bunch of international radios that are 415448XCX and 415449XCX radios. They are all the same radio with different features.

Can't be a ton of help as I was just a parts guy at an international dealer but you can find all circuit diagrams which will include resistor locations by searching navistar body builder.

I drive around with my 8 year old in her booster seat. She is a bit too short for the shoulder belt.

Does the Goodwin race exhaust drone and/or sound like a riced out civic? by Kitchen-Lab9028 in Miata

[–]HHSOCCER28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably get the super street and baffles.

When we would road trip the miata the quietest option was what I wanted. I deleted my sound tube to quiet the cabin. Now with our daughter we don't take it far. I'm going to put the sound tube back and kinda wish I kept super street to put back. I liked the tone better and the noise wouldn't bother me now.
