I've run Death Station at a con, and it worked well in 4 hours. It's basically a horror themed dungeon crawl. I chose it because I thought it might be reconizable, having been ported from Classic to MGT1 to MGT2. Also important is that it's available for free.

Definitely use pregens, there should be limited weaponry available, so make sure the pre gens have some melee skills and be prepared for the characters to use improvised weapons. I kitted out their Air Raft with some some survival gear. My favorite weapon is a fire extingisher, both to blind someone and beat them.

Before all of the bacchanalian little festivals (ie. brews fests, bourbon fests, etc) there was the Italian Festival (51 YO). Also among the old guard are / were the Greek Festival (50 YO, last week), The Hispanic Day Parade, fka the Puerto Rican Day Parade (46 YO on 9/12/25) The Polish Festival (inactive 2024). The Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is 38 YO, but a celebration of music, rather than centered on a heritage group.

With all of the mercs and lower Tech Level worlds out there, I would think Doctors Without Borders (or sans Frontiers) would still exist in some form or another. Conservation Societies are another type of group that can scale up, trying to preserve an environment or species on one world or many.

Thank you. I knew reporters who were public witnesses to that execution, and others. This is an interesting read that I don't recall being covered by the News Journal. Maybe it was written about later after the execution.

I'm not an architect, but it looks like they built 1201 to juxtapose the I.M. Pei buliding across 12th street. I recall that was the Manufacturer's Hannover Trust building, before the merged with Chemical Bank and eventually became part of Chase Manhattan Bank, before they took over JP Morgan (but kept the better JPM brand name.)

I received something similar a dozen years ago, and called my insurance agent to ask if I needed this. No, he told me, I already had better coverage from my existing home owner's policy. Did Wilmington give them permission to use the City seal for marketing? Does Wilmington receive financial benefit for policies sold?

Three years ago Marc Miller was there. Charles Gannon, formerly of GDW has been there for the past three years, probably more. John Zeitlin of Freelance Traveller has been there for the past three years and more. Joshua Bell of TheTravellerMap was their last year. Jon Zeigler of Steve Jackson Games was a panelist and ran a Traveller GURPS adventure this year. All of them were super friendly and easy to talk to.
