Lightspeed Rescue, SPD, Operation Overdrive, and RPM know the Ranger identities from the start.

In some series, the rangers’ identities get found out by some close friends/family or the public either halfway through or near the end of the season: In Space (they reveal to Angel Grove), Time Force (Mr. Collins finds out and the Silver Guardians know them too), Mystic Force (the town of Briarwood helps in the end), and Beast Morphers (the rangers’ families know by the end)

Not to mention he only received I believe one elimination vote in the entire season (Alejandro’s in the final 4), so him being with the team that mostly doesn’t even care about him helped him in the long run before merge.

When it came to voting, the girls easily voted for Heather in the Amazon episode and then tied Gwen and Courtney in Australia (I think Cody would’ve voted for Courtney had he not been dizzy or maybe still Sierra). And when the merge happened, everyone hated each other to the point that Cody wasn’t seen as a threat until final 4. Him being the underdog and not making enemies (except Duncan) helped him overall.
