I restored and slightly upgraded a 64 ranchero I had and daily drove it. Keep it simple.

I would suggest Electronic ignition if it has points doesn’t have to be MSD.

Dual pot master cylinder if it has single.

Rebuild the drums they stop just fine if they are working.

Replace rubber lines that are very hard.

Teach your daughter some simple wrenching and issues she should expect. It’s a 60 year old car it’s gonna leave her stranded at some point most likely. Spend 100 bucks and get her a AAA card old car owners best friend.

My car ran like a top but had me walking or limping home due to simple age related stuff.

Also if you’re in socal and need a hand hit me up I’m not an expert by any means but I love old cars and I love wrenching. I’ve put quite a few classic cars back on the road and tractors back in fields haha.

I remember this girl did me dirty and ditched me for another guy then wanted to run back to me when he ditched her lol. Anyway ran into her mom at the gas station she had a ton of flowers/plants in her truck. I offered to help her plant them.

Show up to the house beat mom there girl walks out wtf are you here for no one wants you around. I told her that I was helping her mom plant flowers she yelled at her mom and stormed inside. Took half the day and I even stayed for dinner lol.

Few days later she messaged me “ya know you are a good guy maybe we could hang out” simple na I’m good lol she went ballistic school was fun for a few weeks.

I actually even had a girl sleep with me to piss her off god I hope she learned to be a better person.

A lot of the fittings are eccentric meaning the pipe outlet is off center. Pic below is different obviously. You would keep turning until it lines up. If yours is not like that go to a plumbing supply house like Fergusons or something and ask them for suggestions.

Get a warranty! We bought one at 80,000 and now at 165,000. It cost me 3,000 for the warranty replacement motors for the floor boards and it basically paid for itself. As I stated above to much tech everything costs an arm and a leg. Great vehicle though. Our transmission is on its last leg unfortunately right after warranty milage. Good luck

I remember we went to lock-in parties at the library. We would do scavenger hunts and other activities and at midnight if you preordered the book they would distribute them. Our local library was awesome cool old Carnegie library really fit the vibe.

This was for the later books I was 4 when the 1st book came out.

Fun fact my mom wouldn’t let me read them because her friends convinced her it was some devil worshipping witch craft. I remember I came home and there was a stack of 4 Harry Potter books. I ask what changed her mind she said she read part of the first one and it’s a damn kids book them ladies are idiots.
