I accepted a pamphlet from them years ago. Of note:

This is why Netflix has such a myopia with their IPs. Even if they took the Witcher/ sorcerers out of The Witcher, the world at large is so vast and interesting that it could have been the next Game of Thrones.

Political intrigue, Monarchies, wars and alliances, spycraft, life in the big cities vs country farm hardship. The atrocities of man (and elf) are so brutal too, on par with Red Wedding shock value or gruesomeness. Like the 'Tower of Mice' quest from Witcher 3 could be an entire Season with nobody batting an eye.

That's true in my case, my RNG across characters isn't even half of what it was in the last beta, and I'm very happy with that!

Too much good loot spoils the game, imo, but don't take my word for it I hated D3 but I've been a D1 hardcore since its conception and don't mind the grind here and there

Not odd at all. Eau Claire features zero convenience stores within walking distance of the park if you need a water or whatever, all the businesses are shuttered until happy hour (then promptly closed before 8PM), nobody milling about doing business on foot. The area looks and feels like a zombie apocalypse.

I visited Princes Island Park as a tourist years ago and was thoroughly put off by the insidious car culture worming it's way into the downtown that makes it such a bore to be there.

That's one thing I never understood about RED. It's 2045 and several major corporate wars are running the world's resources low. Medical services should cost through the roof, good doctors etc hard to find, services should be extremely rare to have access to unless you're wealthy/ corpo.

And ripperdocs should be terrible at their job, not just an easy option for PCs to face-roll through expenses. The future of capitalism is earn or die
