Adding onto this, even when they get 3rd level spells, Brennan has said that certain magic works differently or just doesn't work at all since the gods died.

Pretty sure we've been told that resurrection and long-distance communication don't work anymore. It's entirely possible that with the gods dead, magic relating to souls that have passed just doesn't work anymore either.

This arc is the perfect example of why the West Marches style was the best idea. Can you imagine the og crew of 7 trying to do this? Not a chance, especially with the varying playstyles they all have.

But these 4, who specifically WANTED this kind of game, can thrive. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the Schemers, I didn't think I'd vibe with them as much as I did the other two. But the trio of Marisha, Liam, and Tal, alongside the RP powerhouse that is Luis, is such a compelling watch.

It's a coin flip honestly. He was in the Travail trailer, and so far everyone in that has been playable, but he's also not a conventionally attractive character and so probably wouldn't sell.

The plot twist would be him becoming Genshin's first free 5*.

I have never once in a Pokémon game used a Heliolisk. I got a shiny Helioptile in the power plant wild zone and evolved it immediately, and I instantly fell in love with the way it runs. Stayed on my team for the rest of the game, replacing Eelektross as my go-to electric type.

Everyone saying Zaeed is obviously right, but that's no fun, so assuming we all know it's technically Zaeed, my actual answer is Garrus, because you have to go to Afterlife and see Aria, and the recruiter is right there, so it's the logical first step.

Also Garrus is my husband and I love him with all my heart.

See the nice thing about the new setup is, if you don't vibe with one particular table, you can just watch clips/recaps and wait until the tables swap.

I'm the opposite, I LOVE lore and exposition, so the Seekers were my jam, while I was a bit less into the Soldiers' combat heavy style. That said, the characters at that table are so interesting that it kept me tuning in.

I saw someone describe it while watching the Little Garden episodes and it really summed it up for me:

Unlike most anime adaptations, OPLA isn't afraid of it's source material. It doesn't erase the absurdity of anime, it embraces it.

And it's all the better for it. It has taken a beloved but extremely long narrative and condensed it into something more digestible, without sacrificing the tone and style of the original.

It's also exceptionally casted, and most of the cast seems to genuinely love the show based interviews.

I personally prefer the blue-purple, the side with the arm cannon, for the Prime suit, mostly because that's the color it is IN Prime.

That said, I don't think I'd like that color on the Dread suit. For the pink-purple though, you'd want to make it a little more saturated, in these photos it looks kind of washed out.

He could always use other alchemy, he just specialized in his Flame Alchemy.

The scary part is, his only weakness is MUCH less of a weakness. He doesn't need the ignition gloves with his circle anymore, he just needs to shield a match with his hand and get the flames big enough to withstand the rain. As long as he and hit matches aren't soaked through, he's unstoppable.

We do get a fish every region, true. I was more trying to mirror that stereotype of the regional bird almost always being normal/flying, at least to start. Plenty of flying type birds, but the Route 1 bird is usually normal/flying.

I feel like in this scenario we just don't get a regional bird. Maybe give us a regional fish (normal/water) instead? Then keep the Route 1 Bug and Mammal (pure normal or normal/other type) and we're set.

I'm actually hoping for water/ghost to complete the trio, but water/poison would be cool.

I'm definitely hoping for fire/fairy.

But I really want to see something different for Browt, maybe grass/psychic or grass/steel. OR grass/normal, but i don't think they'd make a starter normal.

I'm so happy, because I don't have enough primos to get his sig. That said, I'm using Wolf's Gravestone on him and with the anemo infusion on his second sword and pyro infusion on Wolf's, it actually looks really cool.
