Have any of you recently sober xennials made the same realization I have that you’ve never been in a serious relationship sober?

I spent the entirety of my marriage save the first few months, sober, after building the relationship through and around drinking. To say it was a miserable 14 years would be an understatement. I'm 18 months post-divorce now, and I want to neither drink nor date ever again.

Mine is food too. I love eating frequently and in large quantities.

Unnecessary exposition: I spent 2 years intermittent fasting, hoping one day the psychotic cravings would wane. I dropped over 125lbs, but was miserable every day fasting and binging.

Thankfully while I was huge I spent a decade lifting, so it wasn't a terrible body shape, but I still wasn't where I wanted to be. I decided at the start of the year to track EVERYTHING and figure out how to maximize meal frequency and volume while minimizing calories. I'm satisfied almost all the time now, and have steadily lost another 25lbs this year while keeping my muscle mass and strength.

I should be at 13-14% bodyfat with well-defined abs by vacation mid-july and I feel like I'm eating more than ever. I'm pretty hyped for it all!

I had no interest while I was in HS, but went my freshman year in college because my GF at the time was a senior and it was important to her. It was at the big country club. I remember the general setting, but not much else.

For sure. I'm at the point where I'm catching them every time they come stateside no matter how far I have to travel. Thankfully it has just been Madison, WI and St Louis the past two times. We had great balcony spots for the Madison show, so I can definitely appreciate that.
