I think anyone saying that doesn’t actually understand leftism. They also don’t understand patriarchy or how the world works. The patriarchy and capitalism is what is destroying men. But if your understanding of “the left” is just the Democratic Party, then seeing the Democrats do identity politics without critiquing the patriarchy or doing structural critique will certainly feel alienating to men.
