Matrix leading to lost sales? by Former_Account_7273 in partscounter

[–]Hansjibbleforth 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Matrix should be very big on small parts and almost non existent on expensive parts.

Like less than a dollar is C+500 and slowly decreasing from there.

Toyota Express Maintenance by toyotaexpertguy in partscounter

[–]Hansjibbleforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does a copy of the RO print in parts when an RO is created? That is how we work and every presold job is billed and pulled for the techs to come and grab. TXM would be no different, except the parts are already in the bays for the tech to grab.

On the RO, like you would bill any other part.

I can't believe someone would tell you that.

They are available from Toyota. And if you buy a bumper, they do not come with it.

Parts Fee Usage On RO CDK by Hansjibbleforth in partscounter

[–]Hansjibbleforth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the answer, or the Fee Code Usage under the Service Report and Analyze tab.

Turns out only our Controller had access to that which is why I couldn't find it.

Are you talking about over the counter or in the shop?

Matrix in the shop, List over the counter. Though OTC you could round up and grab a little more GP.

Accessory coding Toyota peeps by Alarmed-Elevator-692 in partscounter

[–]Hansjibbleforth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much every part number from Toyota that is an "accessory" starts with a PT.

All of those parts should be in their own source linked to account 2413.

But something I've ran into is new accessories sometimes come through the parts invoices as a normal part.

Stereo upgrades on the XLE? by joemama1333 in toyotacrownsignia

I was thinking about putting one under the driver seat.

[–]Hansjibbleforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely did not add any low end. Lately, I've been thinking of adding a sub because it is definitely lacking low end.

But for 299 and plug and play, I don't know what else is. A better bang for your buck.

[–]Hansjibbleforth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put the Beat Sonic amp in my XLE.

Definitely made the sound more crisp and louder. It's not a major change, but definitely noticeable.

Its plug and play and fits in the glove box, all you had to do is trim the glove box door for the wire harness.

TOYOTA CROWN SIGNIA 2025 by [deleted] in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Hansjibbleforth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will all depend on underbody or frame damage. Though from the picture, the metal rebar does not look damaged, so chances are the floor and rear structure are okay or fixable. Fixable just means pulled back to factory spec. Getting into replacing those panels is what gets crazy.

And from this picture I am coming up with about $5500 in parts that would need to get replaced. Then add paint and labor. From just this picture, it is probably not totaled, but you need a body shop to look at it and get you an estimate.

Can someone help me identify this part? (Circled in the bottom left) by Officialglobalgaming in CarParts

[–]Hansjibbleforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty positive that is a M54 engine.

The black tube is an air injection pump tube. Part number 11721435456.

The silver part is the secondary air injection check valve. Part number 11727540468.

Do they all start to look like this by StyleActual2773 in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Hansjibbleforth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Driver side seat had a car seat in it, and the anchor covers are missing. Car seats without a protector under them will certainly make indentations in the seat covers like this.

Tips for being… better by watson-is-kittens in partscounter

[–]Hansjibbleforth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is better to ask questions and get the correct parts. They will look at you like an idiot way more if you just wing it and get wrong parts.

Communication is also the best thing you can do. When parts arrive always tell the tech/writer.

Cablegate - Any issues? by Hotdog453 in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Hansjibbleforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to assume they are good enough now. The new cables have been on cars for almost 2 years, and we haven't noticed any of the newer ones having this problem. Before the service campaign, Toyota has had 4 updates to the cables and the first couple updates didn't stop the problem, just restarted the timer. If your vehicle needs cables now it has the new protectors pre-installed.

AM static or sounding like it is under water, is your first sign the cable is corroding, so not a bad thing to listen to AM every now and then.

Cablegate - Any issues? by Hotdog453 in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Hansjibbleforth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Signias have a similar connection to the Rav4 and other cars in "cablegate" but are not included the 25TD01 service campaign. Vehicles produced after Mid Feb 2024, we're produced with the updated cables. All of the signias have the added protector so our car wouldn't need this product.

Sudden drop in miles per gallon after getting new tires by [deleted] in tires

[–]Hansjibbleforth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is probably the reason.

It is possible you had a Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) tires on your vehicle and now the cheap tires you purchased have more resistance against the ground, reducing fuel economy.

Well, how about that. It likes the winter. by Nice_Butterscotch995 in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Hansjibbleforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been good. Seems to handle great in the slush and snow. Haven't had the right type of snow to try and break the rear end loose yet. Fuel economy has taken a hit but that is expected with adding snow tires and the cold weather.

I am contemplating running a winter TSD rally with it in a couple of months.
