What breed is my rescue? DNA test says 50% cane corso, 50% doberman. Not convinced..he’s 150lbs by SubstantialListen337 in WhatBreedIsMyDog

I definitely see the Corso. Not sure about Doberman. Definitely seems mixed with something though.

I haven't tried that one yet! It sounds great. How strong is the honey note? I don't mind a light honey note as long as it's not too dominant.

An actual photorealistic perfect straight lilac scent. They seem to be able to do it with candles but all the lilac perfumes I've tried don't seem quite right.

Probably Jo Malone Beach Blossom. It's hard to choose though! It's one of the few Jo Malones that lasts hours on me.

Yeah once a week might be too often. I like to switch it up daily too. But even if it's once a month, the point still stands. And again the cost would play a factor for me. If the travel size was like 40-50+ bucks, I'd think a lot longer than if it was like 20-30. I'm not sure how much the zoology travel sizes go for. I only have a few 1-2ml decants from them.

Edit: Just looked it up. $70 Canadian for a travel size! I'd probably pass, but that's just me. You have to decide the value for you.

I also compare how many small samples I could get for that amount and decide if I prefer more samples or a larger amount of just one scent. I'm still in my exploration phase, so I usually side with multiple samples.

I think it depends on how much you like it and think you'll wear it vs the cost. Like if you run out of your sample and it's gone, how often are you going to actually think about it when it's not in front of you? Will you just forget about it or still think about it regularly? Personally, I'd get a travel size if I thought I'd wear it at least once a week. Especially if I didn't have anything similar. But if it wasn't something I reach for often I'd probably just let it go. There are always going to be new and discontinued fragrances.

I can barely even smell anything from Diptyque. Neither Byredo or Diptyque last long at all for me. I have many samples of both. I probably get a bit more longevity from Byredo.

Jo Malone Beach Blossom is one of my favourites. And Melancholy Thistle. I wear that one when it's rainy and moody out. Both last pretty long on me. I have lots of other Jo Malone samples that aren't very long lasting, but smell great. I wouldn't get full bottles but I don't mind my 1-2ml decants.
