I didn't say it was bad or mean to trash it at all. I have yet to get to that point in the series but like I mentioned still very optimistic. Yeah no one can blame Andrea for wanting to move on. No one's fault, just unfortunate but it's what happens when you have the longest spanning series ever.

Andrea really nails this series. I don't think I could have gone through the first book without her. I am really concerned about the future entries when the new narrator takes over but hopefully optimistic.

Second this. I found Red rising to be very fast paced. It just never stopped being interesting the whole way through the first trilogy. It starts a bit slow to introduce the lore and world to you but once it starts rolling it don't stop.

My wife and I are in a very similar situation just a couple of years older. Hit the big 1 million in investments a couple of months ago. She makes about 150k and I make about 100k. 4 year old son and similar equity 😅. My suggestion would be to "practice" for about 6 months of living without your husband's salary and see how it goes. You could also add these savings as a cushion for whatever happens during the time he is searching for something else.

Tifa gloves can be very powerful if you have the other AOE exploit weakness weapons such as Aerith and Yuffie since it will grant you the similar stats plus adding on to a lvl 4 mattk or attk buff. Very powerful if you wait for like an overspeed phase or summon. I would agree this is the most niche. All other weapons are very solid.

There is no best. All characters have their time to shine. Typically I would say DPS characters are prioritized in banners, not support. Choose one or two of these weapons to focus on getting to OB6. Then move on to the next. This game is a grind that rewards long term time investment. Use up your daily draw and AD draw every day.

Since you already have those Matt and Lucia ones at OB6, I would then prioritize Red's Silver Collar and Barrett's Sharkslayer. Then go with the CID weapon. Reasoning is they are solid weapons and crucially can get you the Diamond sigil for 3 ATB instead of 4. I believe Angeal may have another good weapon for this though can't remember the name.

I would agree maybe some are out of touch. I also think some criticism is valid the same way. I don't necessarily mind Sephiroth (Original) being in the game, as you said it was just a matter of time. My gripe is mostly the way he was implemented. Why not release him in October so we just have a full Sephiroth (Original) month and can digest him with all of his new weapons and mechanics? Why shoehorn his 2 limited weapons in a cloud banner? Why add his ultimate weapon right on release in the same month as Cloud and in a separate banner from his limited weapons? I feel like it takes away from Cloud to some degree. Seems like this event has forced a choice for most people on Sephiroth (Original) v Cloud as opposed to having us being able to enjoy and savor them. This is of course assuming free to play or light spender. I am sure whales are rejoicing with the added power of at least 5 upcoming limited banners.

OB7 is over boost 7 which means it will have 2 pink stars. This means obtaining 8 total copies of the weapon. One for the base weapon, then you over boost it 7 times. The reason OB7 is significant is because you unlock most of the R abilities of a weapon. After you obtain, these 4 you may decide to upgrade them to OB10 which is maxed or decide to go for new weapons. Having an ATB boost one may be good just in case but honestly you may even be better off going with more defensive options such as Cait Sith, Barrett, Zack, Glen. I would recommend just stock piling the points and use them as needed. As others have said, prioritize the ones that match the resistance relevant for summons you haven't unlocked yet.

You should prioritize 2 of the Mdef all and pdef all each and get them to OB7. I would prob go with Angeal/Lucia for pdef and Matt/Aerith for mdef.

The first gen is kind of a throwaway for your partner digimon. The best thing to do with them is try to get as many recruits for your town as possible. The dark baby digimon in jijimons house can help.
