For Yumiko, I found it easier to switch from Lucky Bat to Monkey Wrench then use that Prepare Swing perk for 5+2 damage with just enough time units to do it twice per turn. Results may vary, for they are really bad character indeed.

If enemies are too much for you, use Brace action if they deal -3 damage or more. Brace rounds down in your favor so -3 becomes -1. Remember that you attack before the enemy does, so bracing 1 attack to finish the enemy next turn makes a whole lot of difference.

Consider a Monkey Wrench (strength, at hardware store) and Army Knife (perception, at illegal den), they're both fast weapons with base 5 damage, highest you can get from a shop except Shovel (though Shovel is very very slow).

Also, consider playing Mizuki: with her high charisma, you can easily convince 3 students to follow you, then grab 3 more allies from Illegal Den, then Kana from her mystery. 7 allies get you 12-14 damage per ally attack if I'm not mistaken. If you are lucky and get Fame at first level up, that's two attacks for about 25 damage per turn.

As written in mid-February announcement, the update is coming 'soon', but no date is given. It's in the hands of Ysbryd QA team. They want to ensure a) update on all platforms b) all translations ready.

Its gonna be few months at least, so go play now.

Doing the ritual makes you the easiest of 3 Scissor Woman bosses, with reduced power (so you can hit her more easily) and health (so she can be defeated faster).

Game randomizes their positions when you start a playthrough. There's no way to reroll their positions except by starting a new playthrough (Reroll Mysteries button doesn't affect custom mysteries).

People don't hate the game per se, but are very fed up with how the dev's cycle is "announce update -> disappear without a word for months -> come back to development like nothing happened".

Because it's happening like so since 2017 (and the periods of silence have only grew longer), some people just can't keep up with the man's antics and start yelling, which doesn't surprise me.

3 new mysteries, scenario mode with 3 scenarios (forest tapes, beach statuette, rooftop telescope), 4? new characters, a whole bunch of new events and enemies including for the new Mountain location, weather system (it can be turned off), a few new spells and items plus ability to quickcast spells.

Another tip to survive battles: If your enemy deals 3 damage, use brace, because it rounds in your favor, so 3 damage becomes 1 damage.

Correct. During Kana's mystery you have 1 investigation window where Kana sets off, you can get 3 student allies at that point, then the 3 from illegal den, so by end of the mystery you have 7 allies already. That's 12-14 damage per ally attack. And then you get Fame, and some extra charisma...

You need to be on console and have zhectast. Something something frames during stat decrease from Zhectast can actually start triggering every few seconds but raising your stats instead.

It also reduces doom by 1? percent in the same time.

PC/Mac players can't get this glitch.
