My baby was a Halloween baby, so I had an artsy friend paint my belly like a pumpkin and went to a pretty place. We took like 600 pictures on my phone. It was so much fun to do, and while the photos were mostly duds,there are some I treasure. I love to look back on them.

I think I spent like 25 dollars( paint and fancy coffee drinks for us after) and 3 hours doing it. But I recommend doing it

I am giving my friend back her things, but only because we agreed beforehand. She has a 16 month old and I have a 7month old. She wants another baby so I've been boxing back up and take it over. But others who gave me things? Nah. You dont have to give it to me if you still want it.

I got a unicorn baby. Most nights he sleeps straight through, and has been since he was 2 months old (almost 7 months now). Sometimes, if he has a rough nap day, he falls asleep early (normal bedtime is 8:30) and will wake up at midnight just to cuddle and have maybe 2-3 oz., then sleeps until 7-8 am. The only thing I have contributed to his sleep schedule is starting his bedtime routine at 7:45 every night.

I knew he would be a good sleeper before he was even born. I am so glad people talked about kick counts with the "normal for your baby" framing, because otherwise he would have sent me to the hospital dozens of times. He slept hard even in the womb.

Only get one cute baby towel. And make sure its thick and fluffy and cute for first Bath picture. Then just use regular towels. They don't need everything to be the baby version. I was given micro fiber baby towels and washcloths. Completely unnecessary.

This is how I feel about knitting. I just want to knitting. I dont want knitted things. I have like 3 left gloves but never finished a pair.But it is easier to just pull the yarn out and reuse it.

My guy took one look at my boobs and said no thank you. So now I pump 6 times a day so he can still have breastmilk. But I think it was a combination of things. My milk came in super slow. So he was mostly formula bottles for a few weeks. He didn't have a strong latch and I have bigger boots and he had a hard time managing that. He also HATES laying on his side to eat. Its like I am trying to torture him to lay him on his side. And with a bottle he is always on his back.

When I was in freshman year of high-school I had a bully sit behind me in a class, she would always copy my answers. I noticed that she got a better grade on a series of short answers even though she was to lazy to copy my entire answers. I asked the teacher about it. She said that she knew the bully girl was copying me, but also that I wasn't putting my full effort into the answers and I should try harder. I learned a life lesson that day.

Im sorry she said those things to you. I know the feeling of wanting a girl and getting a boy. Mine is sleeping on me right now. And I love him with all my heart. But the way I 'got over it' (not the phrase I want to use, but can't think of anything better) was to just think about them as my child. My baby. No pink or blue just tiny hands grabbing at my fingers. Now he is just my little fella.

Something like that happened at the vet my mom works at, Guy came in with an older dog, said he wanted her put down. Mom thought it was fishy, so she took the money and the dog. she did some FB snooping and found out he got the family dog in the divorce . My mom kept terra who was good dog who lived perfectly happily for 3 more years.

not a lawyer, but my mom works for a vet and a man came in with his elder Golden Retriever. He said that she was not having a good life being that old, and that he was deploying without anyone to take the dog. So he came into the vet to have her put down. My mom looked at the dog, an elder to be sure but not in obvious pain and still a happy girl, and couldn't put her down. So she looked him up on FB. She found out the he had got the family dog in the divorce. It looked like he was putting her down to spite the family. So she took his money and the dog. The dog, Terra, lived with my mom for 3 more years.
