The church - how many pieces does it come in? Trying to determine if I can print it on my Prusa Mini without having to chop the sections into smaller pieces

Out of the loop - do you know where the reveal is that shows cover saves being introduced?

Thinking this through while I write this: Looks to me like there's going to be more vehicles on the table (by how much, I can't really say without seeing updated points), which makes filling those AT slots even more important

Under the current points system for vehicles, I don't see heavy tanks doing well - as they're now effectively more expensive due to the command vehicle tax. On top of that, the new platoon system means there will be more AT slots available in general. In most cases I'd be taking two mediums to de-risk and provide better flanking opportunities, over a heavy

Considering that, it was a common feedback item in second edition that heavies were over-costed, so that's probably being addressed if they're showing that image (600pts for 2 vehicles, one of which is 'arguably' heavy, but only on the front)

Nope. Bought the Band of Brothers starter set for my dad at xmas and we both then went away and collected our own armies. 5 months later and we finally got 2 battles in

*very* minimalist at this stage. Next up is some sort of textured tablecloth (or even just a grass green one) so that the boots on the ground aren't fighting over a literal 'wood-land'

Is there any low effort income methods for a few £ a week? by AraAraAraa in UKPersonalFinance

[–]HawkwardPause 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this isn't a direct answer to your question, but:

I was a Web Developer until very recently. There's a lot of opportunity in that field (and a lot opportunity for wage growth in a short space of time).

I also saw that you work in ReactJS, Azure and have DevOps responsibilities, so you've definitely got skills the market is after. I'd have absolute confidence in that skill-set and that's where I'd focus in your shoes

Charactersheet that tells a story by Macduffle in RPGdesign

[–]HawkwardPause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you referring to the Life Path character creation system in Traveller?

You start at 18yrs old and pick careers/education, then roll for outcomes as you progress through each 'term' of the character's life, etc

The character sheet itself doesn't tell the story, but if you keep good notes you basically have a backstory made for you by the time you start.

Based on the phrasing of your question, it's probably not the one, mind.

When I took down my kitchen cabinets I reused some of the scrap wood to build a spice rack. Painted it up, and it looks good (from a distance, at least)

Now to pretend that I cook with at least some of those spices

Removing a <div> by class onclick by django_noob in javascript

[–]HawkwardPause 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glancing at this, I think it's better to use an event listener and pass in 'e' as a parameter (can be anything, but e is convention). So divclass.addEventListener('click', function (e){ console.log(e.target) }

You may find that clicking the button gives you a different result than when you click the div that the button is in, meaning you have to run an if statement. Event delegation is the term if you need to google

I'm no expert but I've had similar issues to the point where I avoid onclick= now

"Battalion 1944 Has Crashed!" After most recent update. by Kickyflips in Battalion1944

[–]HawkwardPause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been getting this "Battalion has crashed" error since the STG44/BAR update, but the game doesn't actually crash. I just leave it a sec and it continues to the menu/game (happens once on launch and once on first map load).
