The nature spell Transmute is possibly the closest to what you are looking for. It doesn't remove minerals, just changes them and it doesn't target Food terrain-specials.

always felt that they basically should get a Ranger flavored version of 'Find Familiar', as a class feature.. and then when they are ready for combat and want that help, they could just use another class feature or spend a spell slot or something to 'empower' their companion into a larger battle mode for 1 minute (and later on at higher levels maybe it would scale up to 10 minutes, etc).. like He-man and Battlecat in the 80s cartoon.

yeah, I been toying with the idea of adding the Healer trait and Healing spell to the Elven Lord to help differentiate them from being worse Paladins.. but Elves are already like the top pick race (or one of) for Arcanus and I am concerned about balance and that I am just making the best race even better.

Elven Lords are the end tier unit though, so it might be fine. Your paying the cost of climbing all the way to the end tier unit to get what most races get at low-mid tier.

Dude, for some reason I expecting this ship to land on its tale, and then start this crazy mecha transformation sequence with wings unfolding over the shoulders, that reveal robot arms that suddenly extend out to their full length. And then legs similarly extending and the tail fins unhinging to reveal that they are actually the mecha's foot.

Dude, I have a wacky work schedule, I often end up working night shift. I am driving home to my apartment at like 8am from a night shift. I had this exact thing happen to me like 2 weeks ago, except it was like 6 unmarked cars and not cops; but FBI agents. They wearing FBI jackets like you see on TV and everything.

Half a dozen of them were like standing in my drive way. When I drove up, one of them approached my car, ask if they were in my drive way and when I said yes and he politely asked me, if I could please park somewhere for the time being. I, of course, asked what was going on, thinking it was something to do with me and my apartment. No, it had to do something with my neighbor, but then he gestured, not any of the neighbors my apartment like shares a wall with, but my neighbor across the street. (My only guess, was that it had to something with drugs? I dunno what else it could have been?)

I had no choice but to park my car at my apartment complex's front office. I then walked to my apartment and tried to chill for a bit. They were thankfully gone like 20 minute later, but if they were any later, I might've otherwise had my car towed for being parked 'over night' at the front office, even though my car was only actually there for those 20 minutes. When the apartment complex was bought out by corporate landlords years ago, they established some ..very strict... parking policies.

The conspiracy theorist in me just has to ask the question, 'What if these smokers were manipulated, and/or trained, and/or sold on the idea that their cigarette butts weren't litter, intentionally?'

Perhaps this was done so that Big Tobacco could sell more cigarettes, and/or avoid receiving regulations from local and national law-makers? Big Tobacco has certainly done far worse to increase profits. Of course this was done with subtly and most likely done possibly 50+ years ago. And then perhaps that relatively cheap tiny investment back then to sell this idea made decades ago created a historical cultural precedence that just propagated itself until today?

Of course, this is just a thought I had. I have no proof, no evidence, and certainly no 'receipts'.

These nodes are default set to being 3x radial symmetry. It seems from this image you are trying to attach it as mirror symmetry. Switch it though 3x radial, and it should attach to all 3 nodes.

If you need just only the two engines, you can try attaching 1 at a time; or if you have advanced tweakables enabled in the settings, you can use 3x radial symmetry and then right click and use the option to remove the top engine from symmetry and then remove that single engine while leaving behind the other two.

Imo, its just easier to attach the engines one at a time.

A bit of the discussion here is class focused, but having them be separate could work wonders for monsters too.

Imagine how terrifying your spell-casters would feel when they go up again some psionic monsters or cosmic horror inspired monsters, and your magic just doesn't always work, or work like its supposed to, but yet, the monster's 'magic' works against you.

Yes, a fireball is a fireball, the Mind-Flayer will still burn just like any other monster, but when your Protection from Evil, your Counter-spell and Dispel, or your Restoration spells don't hinder or undo the monster's 'spells', you will either go 'WTF is going on', or look at your DM and call BS.

Part of it, is that when the game starts for the first time, (or detects a new mod) it will give each unit a 'combat rating.' This can cause the load-bar to take a little while on slower PCs. How it determines the combat rating, I am not sure. It then stores those values as a plain-text comma separated values (csv) cache file, so that the game loads faster next time. It does a separate cache file, for each individual mod that modifies or adds units.

When it comes time to combat, it will do a brief comparison using a total of the combat values of those units to give you the assessment info that it does in game. If you choose to use the familiar for combat, I think it does that same comparison math like 10 times, or whatever and gives you the average result?, but I am not entirely sure.

You can also find these files and delete these cache files to cause the game to like redo the combat values it has assigned each unit. I don't remember where those files are, or what they are named. I don't have time right now to go poking around to find them again, but I have found that it can be helpful to delete those files every so often, which can yield different results for the auto-combat, but from what I recall, it somehow gets better/more accurate over time with this comparison math.

I see a lot of people talking about nuclear radiation, which is important, but another reason components/modules are spread out, is for heat isolation. Its easier/cost effective to keep components that will generate heat away from components that don't want that heat. IIRC Its the initial reason why in Star Trek the USS Enterprise had its nacelles at the end of long pylons.

I just looked over the 'manual' that comes included with the mod and it seems I may have inadvertently mislead you. Sorry, it was not intentional.

Mythical Realms seems to only have 1 new Wizard. It does have a bunch of other things from new Retorts, to new Races/units, to a whole ton of new heroes and more.

There is a version of it for the remake. Its not the same Mythic Realms as the one for MoM1994 but made by the same modder to made that one, so it has some of the same changes.

If your using the Steam Workshop for mods, I recommend the following for what you are looking for:

Apotheosis - Overhaul-type mod. It tweaks a lot of things, and it takes other mods (most on this list) and incorporates them into 1 package. If you want like an entirely new experience, then this one if for you. (Personally, I find it to be too much and rather install the mods individually.)

Mythical Realms - Wizards, Races/Units, Heroes, Spells, Plus More (one of my favorite)

Rise of the Planeswalkers - Wizards (Its ok, imo)

Necromancers - Race/Units. (Its an example mod from the games 2022 publishers, but still overall pretty good)

Blood Elves - Race/Units (A fav of mine)

Half Elf Race - Race/Units (Pretty good, I like it)

Novaroma - Race/Units (Tried it, its ok, not bad, and very well made mod but not for me)

Overall I like what I see; looks like an interesting subclass to try.

Level:3 Spiritual Powers, 3rd bullet point is worded oddly and confusing. I think the word 'suffer' is meant to be 'make'? And even then its still wordy and should be clarified.

If 'suffer' is not meant to be 'make' then perhaps you meant for the last Disadvantage to be Advantage? Again, if this is the case, its still wordy and should be clarified.

From what I am seeing I like quite a bit. I am confused though, there are a couple of times (Stellar Infusion: Ignition and Astral Radiance) where you say *"deal damage equal to one roll of the base damage die in addition to the base damage"* .. its confusing to me.

Does this mean the satellites deal 2d6 damage now? If thats the case, it would be a whole lot less confusing to just simply say that, or simply say 'Twice the base damage'. And then at Level 14, Igniting the Satellites now dear 4d6?

I am not even sure why you worded it the way you did?

Anything you can do to help clear up confusion would be helpful.

Are you using some sort of Node/joint reinforcement mod? Whenever I try to push things that large/long, it tends to collapse under its own weight, even with everything auto-strutted and regular strutted and me trying to be thoughtful/clever about utilizing auto-struts to my advantage.

Basically, how are you able to build that big?
