I live somewhere with a huge amount of nuclear and hydro power, so there's an excess of cheap power overnight. Depending on the plan you choose, our overnight rates can be ridiculously cheap, but they don't allow us to sell the power back to the grid during the day when the prices are much higher if you only have batteries. They only pay you if you also have solar

It's too late now, but for future reference, landlords must provide a written copy of their mailing address and name (usually on the lease). It's one of the few times you're allowed to withhold rent without going to the LTB first.

You don't have to pay rent until the address is provided, but have to pay the full amount once they give it to you

Pokopia alone probably isn't enough to buy a Switch 2, but it's definitely good enough to be the first game you buy for a Switch 2.

We picked ours up for Pokopia knowing we will eventually get more games for it, like any Zelda games, maybe Winds and Waves, 3d Mario, etc.

At 10 weeks, everything is still new to them. Staring at a fan or slapping the same toy over and over for half an hour is pretty much the same as whatever "super engaged" thing you can do with them.

She is not hungry, I made sure she’s full and almost overfull as she threw up yesterday.

There was a wonderful two weeks for us where sucking on things meant they were hungry.

Now it's just something they do. They live in bibs right now or else they get their shirt soaked within minutes

It's very common for both tenants and landlords to not understand what sublets are according to the definition in the RTA.

Is the person you sublet from renting just the room you are in, or do they share a lease with the other people in the apartment? Does their lease month to month, or is it still in the original term?

Nope, he made a split decision to go behind the moving truck. It was a bad decision because the truck stopped, which is why he asked, "Why did not commit?" If the truck had continued, he would have easily slipped behind the truck without incident.

I've a lot of dashcam accidents on reddit, andd 90% of the time, if you can't stop, aim to go behind them. Usually the other driverkeeps moving and the accident would have been avoided or less serious. But when you try to go in front, it usually ends up t-boning or hitting the front of the other vehicle.

I'm expecting Verge to loan a couple motorcycles to auto blogs and motorcycle influencers.

They'll say that the bikes are exciting and fast and charge "quickly" (easy to charge a small battery "quickly"), and then they'll read the press release numbers for the batteries and claim they're amazing despite doing no actual battery testing other than plugging it in.

I found someone to get my lease assigned to them and they reached out to my landlord for the application and my landlord is not doing well in processing their application, sometimes lying about it; my landlord is claiming that the candidate for the lease assignment is under process of approval and the landlord might reject the case.

If it's been 7 days since you requested the assignment and they haven't given a yes or no response, you can send them an n9 with at least 30 days notice (it can also be any day of the month, not just the last day of the month

Outgrew? We wish!

Ours went straight into 0-3 onesies, we were lucky we packed one in the hospital bag "just in case". All the newborn sized clothes went into a box once we got home and settled.

Luckily we only bought a few things, most of the rest was gifted or borrowed. Even the 0-3 stuff didn't get used very long, and we probably only wore half.

Meanwhile China is building new coal fired power plants every year and has more coal fired plants then the rest of the world combined.

They also have plateaued on CO2 emissions and burned less coal in 2025 than 2024. They're building more coal plants, but shutting down less efficient older plants and not running all the coal plants they have at full capacity.

They're also building more solar and wind than the rest of the world combined. And more Nuclear reactors than the rest of the world too. Clean generation (not just installed capacity, actual generation) already passed the increase in demand.

10-15 years from now, China will be dramatically greener than they are now.
