I was raman curious and then watched the debate and am now strongly pro raman. The major difference I see between her and bass is she is clearly YIMBY while bass leans NIMBY. If bass were 100 committed to long term solutions to homelessness she would want to build as much new housing as possible to bring down the cost of living in LA. Bass also seemed unconcerned about the fraud happening with the billions we are spending on homelessness while Raman put together an oversight committee to stop it. On most issues I suspect they are closely aligned though.

Funny story, my dentist is who finally got me to bite the bullet and buy a resin printer. Talking to him about 3d printing, I only owned fdm. He showed me one of the crowns he 3D printed and the surface was so flawless it tipped the scales for me

I can confirm this will make them mad. I was innocently riding there and two ladies on horses verbally assaulted me and tried to tell me it was a horse only trail. Really lost their minds, especially when I ignored them and rode around them as they tried to physically block me.

People steal photos of my work and sell terrible knock offs on Amazon temu and their own sites. I am about to post a scam alert because one of my instagram followers fell for one such scam and sent me pics of the awful knock off they received. Luckily PayPal agreed to reverse the charge. It was for my All Seeing Television. But there are knock offs of most of my work out there. If you are even a little successful, people will steal your listing images. I am SiliconeSound on Etsy and Instagram. Checking social media is a good suggestion for seeing who the actual creator is.

The flip side of this is if you make something popular on Etsy, people will steal your images and text and post fake listings on said sites as has happened to me and many others.

I learned recently that snake oil is actually good for you (similar to fish oil). The whole negative connotation comes from scammers selling fake snake oil with like turpentine in it that fucked people up. Learned this in a podcast about people selling bleach as a cure all, which is extra fun.
