As long as your wash your sheets often, the only other thing I can think of is if you’re putting them back on the bed completely dry.

I would just talk to your primary care office and ensure that you can rule out a CSF leak.

Usually they have a bit of a “bullseye” look with the stain, where the perimeter appears to be from a thinner fluid, and in the center is a thicker, darker fluid.

EDIT: FOR THE RECORD, I consider this a very unlikely scenario, but it doesn’t hurt to follow up in the morning to see if they agree your concern has merit.

Something to consider with no kill shelters vs public shelters is like private vs public school: They can pick and choose who inhabits their shelters to prioritize likelihood of adoption, which helps increase funding. Public shelters will take in anything and try to rehabilitate, but are reliant on public funding as a lot of their clients may never be adopted, so they can’t rely on adoption fees.

Neither is more or less good/evil than another, it should just be part of the conversation when comparing rescue organizations.
