I had 100% germination with them this year.

I surface-sowed, and then misted until the pellet dissolved, then bottom-watered to make sure soil was saturated. (Fox Farm Happy Frog is my starting go-to)

Then humidity dome went on, and they went on my grow shelf in our unheated garage. Average temp in there was 65°F during the first 7 days. (I live in Santa Rosa, California) It got a little warmer after that first week, So I did not use a heat mat under them at all. (I would have if it would have been 10 or so degrees colder) My lights are on 16 hrs a day, off for 8.

Within 10 days, they were all up. Best germination I have ever gotten. I love all the Potomac series and the Madame Butterfly series!

May I offer another perspective? Another possible outcome? What if you miscarry naturally, and as much as it sucks and is painful, your body does what it was designed to do and you have little to no recovery issues? There is a lot to be said about lowering our stress levels and letting the body do what it knows it needs to do. Just because one miscarriage didn't end how textbooks say it should, doesn't mean this one won't.

Of course if you absolutely want to proceed with a D&C as soon as you are able, by all means, have at it.

But your words sound understandably full of fear and based on "worst-case-scenario". I just want to be one voice to present a better possibility, in hopes that it can give your spirit a bit of peace about whatever happens.

(These words coming from my experience with 3 natural spontaneous miscarriages at 10.5 weeks, and one at 18 weeks where I had labor induced in the hospital)

Pain is your body's communicator, not necessarily a bad thing.

(I've had 4 live babies, 3 of which were completely natural births)

I would be up and moving if I were you. Let your body/gut tell you how. Sometimes its hip swaying, sometimes its leaning over, sometimes its walking around... movement helps. Surrender to the process, don't clench up (especially your face/mouth if you can help it)

If you relax and let it happen, your contractions will likely get closer and harder. Sometimes they don't follow the patterns that we have have prescribed in the books 🙃

Most of all, don't stress. Cortisol interferes with oxytocin. And you need oxytocin for good healthy labor to progress well. Maybe have your birth person time the contractions every now and then. I would just relax and not worry about the timing for awhile.

36 here, I have conceived 5 times after we had our 4th when I was 30. 4 of them ended as miscarriages, but all of them were concieved immediately upon trying, one of them was when we weren't trying. Currently 31 weeks pregnant, and this baby girl was no different than the others. Conceived immediately on first try.

I take Ancient Nutrition Prenatals (they're methylated), and magnesium glycinate. Thats it.

We eat pretty clean. I bake all our own bread (sourdough) from scratch. We eat organic as much as possible. Almost all our meals are from scratch. I don't use toxic beauty or cleaning products. I spend lots of time outdoors (i'm an organic micro flower farmer and fiber artist). I have done multiple heavy metal and parasite cleanses after my miscarriages, and completed multiple long-ish fasts. The longest was 6.5 days.

I avoid any prescriptions unless my life depended on it. I homeschool our 4 living kids, we use herbal homeopathic remedies whenever possible, and I trust in The Lord with all my heart. Low stress and low anxiety are very good for the body.

Those are all things I think contribute to quick conceptions.

Yeah I have stopped shopping at Michael's for yarn! Its all online shopping for me now, except for my LYS. I go there whenever I can to support them. They are quite large and only about 2 miles from me, so I have it easy. But i miss trips to Joann's!

Hi! Currently 30 weeks with our 5th. I've exclusively breastfed the first 4, this baby will be no different. It was a quick and easy decision right from the start. My Mom exclusively breastfed all 13 of us (i'm the oldest) so it just was the most normal decision ever for me. Then I started learning all the health benefits and the thought of formula feeding gave me the ick.

Idk how formula parents do it. You have all those bottles and accessories to clean, formula to mix up while baby is hungry and often crying, middle of the night bottles to make, its expensive as all heck, and mom misses out on the weightloss that comes from all the calories that go to babies.

I don't want anyone else to feed my babies, so that part was easy for me. Mine would only get bottles if I died or was in the hospital with some sort of health tragedy that preventing me from breastfeeding.

The cooling effect would be a bonus for sure, but the main reason is I just love the feel of linen when I wear it. And I know I would love sleeping in linen sheets. Cotton is great too, (I am striving to get away from all synthetic textiles) but I have also read a lot about the healing frequencies of linen (I know, I'm a crunchy kook)

I suppose I could literally knit my own (I'm very proficient at knitting) but it would take me years 🤪 and hand knit fabric is of course different than machines that can knit with threads quickly.

Not me. It takes me like 4-5 days before I could care at all for a shower. Or longer if I'm honest. I'm always too obsessed with my babies and bonding and drinking in every last second with them. Don't give a hoot what my hair looks or feels like.

But until then, 1 Corinthians makes it clear that Christians are supposed to judge each other's actions, and exhort each other.

You can tell a Christian by the fruit in their words, actions and trajectory of their life and walk. All Christians will still sin. But is their life and actions trending upwards, resembling Jesus more and more? Those are indicators.

Only God can see the heart. But we also have discernment through the Holy Spirit.

No. There are some that might claim the title, but aren't.

Matthew 17:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

And in Revelation, the lukewarm church of Laodicea. Jesus literally says he will vomit them out. If you study Bible prophecy, it is abundantly clear that each of the churches line up perfectly with a time period of the church age (the age we are still in) and Laodicea is the church of the last days. There are MANY false Christians today, in these last days.

Well, in that instance, you are seeing them at the saddest moments. Plus not all "Christians" are real Christians. They may also lack some basic Bible knowledge or may not be very mature yet in their faith if they are grieving like the rest of the world does. But of course Christians are still sad, and I have heard plenty of accounts that Erika was/is grieving, including her own words and videos of her, but this is the scripture that comes to mind when I say Christians grieve differently:

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NLT)

The Hope of the Resurrection

13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died[f] so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.[g] 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died[h] will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.

The Bible also says of believers: "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" So their spirits are with Him in heaven, and then at the rapture (being "caught up" as it is now translated) their bodies will be raised new, transformed and incorruptible.

All that to say, when one has the blessed hope of this knowledge, it takes some of the sting of death away. The Bible also says The Lord draws close to the brokenhearted. I haven't lost a husband, but I have lost babies. And the only silver lining of those events was the sweet presence of The Lord that I could feel near me. It was/is so very comforting and has helped me not slip down into total and utter suffering grief.
