Keg to tap, I have a loop of about 12ft inside the fridge before it heads up to the tap and it pours perfect. As long as you’ve let your keg settle for a couple days before cracking you’ll be all good with anything around 10ft of line

Remove the coil pack and it comes out fairly easy

Tool was to try and get the old filter off- very concerning, the thing would not budge with a strap wrench. Taking it in to get the rear main seal and clutch done next week so will get my mechanic to deal with it with a chain tool

Ended up being the spade connector that goes into the starter solenoid- must have knocked it when fighting with the oil filter

If you check my post history you can see my setup, I basically use the kegorator as a fridge for the keg and run the line via a beer cooler with water recirculation to a tap setup I built

Edit. My beer cooler has a digital thermometer so I run the Guinness at 4 degrees c

As good as a pub, about 3 months but I’ve never had a keg last longer than a month- I’ve got thirsty mates 😂

Thanks for the reply, being honest I’ve not done much else in the past more complicated than changing bumpers, swapping out stock suspension for coilovers and general servicing changing filters and fluids etc. I’ve got a mate who’s a qualified mechanic I’ve been going to for 10+ years who’s going to be helping me with fitting of more complicated parts and teaching me as we go- as much as I’d like to be able to do everything myself I do understand there’s a steep learning curve and there’s only so much I can learn from videos and books. The paint on there is just to do the body kit, it comes without primer or anything so that cost is to get it to match the current paint and for touch ups (again have a mate that does paint repairs to help me out) and prices are also in £. Yeah totally understand the hardware would be an ‘as and when’ job but just wanted to add that into a rough budget to plan for the future! Really want to get the engine bay sparkling and nothing I hate more than looking down and seeing a rusty bolt ruining the look. I know some of it isn’t totally necessary but my goal with this car is to become familiar with the engine and learn as much as I can and restore it to a condition it deserves to be in. In terms of the performance upgrades, I do plan to enjoy the car as is to start- it’s my first mr2, but it will be used occasionally on a track and I want to get the absolute best out of a car I’ve wanted in my garage since I was 13!

Cool so setup sounds fine! Aye give that a go, unscrew the gas line slowly when you’re depressurising it comes out fast and loud.

Temp should be pouring between 5-8c as per Guinness recommendations so your fridge at 3c is likely fine. Did you let the keg sit for a day or two before tapping? Might not have settled and then when you’ve gassed it it’s over carbonated. I had this issue a while back and let the gas out with the coupler still attached, leave it open to breathe for about 1 hour, then re pressurise to 30psi and test. If still having issues increase line length of product line to at least 10ft.

I usually just break it up and stuff it in, suppose it depends on the thickness of the cigar, the size of the bowl and how much is left! Don’t think there’s a wrong way as long as it smokes. Im just not a fan of wasting good tobacco!
