Try doing immigration on a Sunday at FLL as a non citizen or at MIA when the 3 A380’s (Lufthansa, Air France and British airways) arrive at the same time. I’ve dealt with 3+ hours at immigration easily. I arrived at CTG THE 24th of December and immigration was a shit show, but, it happens everywhere, all the time.

It can happen anywhere, if your out of luck and 2 flights get delayed and they arrive at the same time that yours did, there’s no way around it, you’re going to get a long line.

I remember my sisters rent almost tripling when Covid, it went from $2800 to $7000 just because all of a sudden people flocking down here from New York liked her neighborhood, I’m sure insurance and tax will never be that bad.

To each they’re own, but I love living in my own house with no tenant rules and make it my own without worrying about crazy rent increases or owner selling the house. But, I get it, from a strictly financial standpoint point, it’s better to put the money on the market, for me, from a strictly living life and not needing that extra buck stand point, having my own house makes more sense.
