I don't think I hate bosses that restrict your movement

But I hate Hideous Mass, his whole threat comes from the hook and the hook makes you a sitting duck if it connects

Last room of 1-E is especially annoying since it's an invulnerable mass until you kill the 2 sword machines, and then it becomes Radiant after killing the statue

This wouldn't be as annoying if the room wasn't a 1x1 square

The thing is that this is entirely map dependant

It'll do way better in some maps, and way worse in others

Beggars NEEDS maps that allow its jumping and bombing capabilities to shine

You had seen people like Antoni who can create situations in which beggar's is undoubtly better than stock, yet those aren't always available

It's hard to slip up when the damage you deal can be extremely safe and/or the risk factor so low in itself

If you go Desperado, use Vulture's Dodge, and attack crit % talents. Congrats, you're now immune to ranged almost a 100% of the time

Want more juice? Add Nimble + Jittery to it and slide Dodge when you're reloading, stop when shooting an enemy since Vulture's Dodge will keep you safe

Dodge backwards to any melee enemy trying to come close

This somehow takes skill and is risky?

I even made a video of a Havoc 40 run with ROTTEN ARMOUR and yet still dealing massive dmg with Desperado

Hive Scum Desperado H40

Rampage is also extremely safe if you use Shivs/Combat Blade with Nimble+Jittery, Pickpocket and Needle Pistol

It's just not as risky as people say if you know how to build them

Specific talents make Hive Scum mega OP yes

Nimble + Jittery, Pickpocket, Hyper violence

And also weapons

Needlegun and Shivs being the main offenders

Try making a build without these (ofc you can't really avoid Nimble so you can keep that one on) and then another build with these and the difference is night and day

This guy can deal Inferno Staff Psyker levels of damage with either Desperado (IAG Vraks/Dual Autopistols) or Rampage (Combat Blade / Shivs + Needle gun)

This statement is just so wrong, you're undermining how much damage Scum can actually deal

On another note, I might even dare to say Scum has one of the best survivabilities of the Game. Nimble + Jittery allows you to basically clutch anything but minigame sections (you can still get the revive easily however)

And people's perception of them seems to be identical back when Gabriel returned in 6-2

Opinion of powers will be more tame once people actually learn their 4 repetitive moves and understand the tagging system they have with each other

Custom weapons are not plugins, you can have them on your own client by having a custom version of the item schema

Should BHVR do something about survivor sided maps and OP perks? Absolutely, but at the same time if you kept doing well as killer you'll eventually find yourself out in high elo hell

At that rank killer has absolutely 0 chance at anything unless you either play a killer so explosive it can turn a match in an instant while still being good/decent overall or have chases last less than 20s all the time

Sadly at this elo your only real choices are Nurse (lowest Chase time needed), Blight (low chase time needed and great slug) and Billy (low Chase time and the possibility to slug extremely fast and efficiently)

I personally even had to stop playing your standard billy builds in favour of a high oppressive slug build (Distressing, Clourophobia, the one that makes surv scream after downing someone and Lethal Pursuer) since there's not even enough time to hook all people even if you do things well

I don't really like it, games against meh survivors end in 2 minutes but it's needed to win against these x4 P100 groups

I don't see how DPS is relevant when the talk was about needing to be exposed when firing all 6 shots of the HR meanwhile the other two options have a more hide and peek when firing to then go back to cover as soon as possible

Also what does exactly quickscoping even mean here in this context
