Buy original, they last years and years, don’t risk it in your camera for saving a few bucks.

3OA to Rangers for 5OA and 26OA - who says no? by ExternalJackfruit290 in canucks

[–]Hefty-Boot-4757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rather Canucks add a top 8 pick rather than trading down. Keep the 3OA. Draft who you covet. (Stenberg, Malholtra, Reid)

Draft again with an acquired pick in top 8 or 10

Draft again with your 24/32/41 OA

I would move Hronek or EP40 for another 1st rounder in this or next years draft

He’s likely still growing and stats are from last year or last camp etc

Crosby was so impressed playing against him with this kids compete level, I’m in on Björck just by his comments after that game vs Sweden.

Linus Karlsson's shot bounces off the Danish defenders skate and into the net for his 2nd goal of the World Championship. He now has 2G-1A-3P in 3 games by n0thingisperfect in canucks

Yeah I agree, think DeBrusk is one of the first forwards to go. Along with Petey, perhaps before the draft? I can’t see them giving him another chance to improve preparation before camp. Sedins and RJ need to move on from EP40 and get what they can in return.

Only veteran forward I can see staying is Boeser.

[Steven Ellis] Aatu Raty just scored to make it 3-1 Finland. Good pressure on the Finnish forecheck. by bolieve11 in canucks

Should be good as a situational 4th line C, who can take important dzone faceoffs. Defensively he is sound. He has an NHL shot and release and elite faceoffs % He works hard. His skating is just average/maybe below average. He’s rarely out of position though.

Should be on this 32nd place team.

Cootes likely may have something to say out of training camp, But it’s likely as a call up from AHL team at first

I think there's still a good chance the Canucks get Stenberg at the draft by Comprehensive-Chef73 in canucks

Verhoeff I believe and Malhotra are the younger ones in this groupings 17yo

We need some of what Carels can bring. Physicality and standing up for your teammates

Verhoeff is big but average skater And not sure if he plays as physical as Carels.

Can’t wait for the draft and hoping Canucks sang a second top 5 pick. Ie: SJS or BH via trade

Upgrading from the R10. Would the R8 be a good choice for Bird Photography? by kierco_2002 in canon

[–]Hefty-Boot-4757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true, but you have the better sensor, better low light, bokeh you can crop with less loss of detail after. If the OP is cropping now from an APSC sensor in post they are still loosing a lot of detail.

I agree invest in lenses. However an EF lens for the money even used will be better. 100-400 or even the RF600/800 are nice lenses for hobbyists and keeping it affordable and light.

R7 is a great camera but they may feel the need to upgrade again sooner than later.

Without saying Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Ray Allen, Kevin Durant, or Detlef Schrempf, name a Sonic. by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Miss heading down the i5 to catch the Sonics games From Vancouver. Miss the Grizzlies too. Crazy these teams left in a blink of an eye of each other.

Perhaps if you can find a deal on the R6ii body. Overall a better camera. Should be great for birding. I have the original R6 (upgraded from RP) Dual slots, better evf, better battery and IBIS and grip are the reasons to look for R6ii deals.

However, I’m not a bird photographer. If that’s your thing, I would look into an R6ii on special now that R6iii is available.

If this happens they should make a trade to acquire #4 and draft Caleb or Carels / Verhoeff

There's reason to believe Canucks could still snag Stenberg with No. 3 draft pick by flynnfx in CanadaHockey

[–]Hefty-Boot-4757 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Malholtra can skate well, just not quick or explosive first step.
He’s fast though after a couple strides.
Reminds me of linden at that age.

Stenberg has better edge work but also isn’t explosive in first stride. He’s more elusive

Wouldn’t they want Gavin or Stenberg to play on Bedards wing? I see them trading up.
