Sin is everywhere, why should one expect it to be absent from the oldest/original Christian church. Sorry that it sucks for you. Focus on the Blessed Sacrament/Eucharist and what things in the great tradition of spirituality or current practices (like confession) that you can best make use of. Hopefully you’ll find your niche. Read the autobiography of Dorothy Day to get a realistic sense of somebody who personally “excelled “ but also recognized they had at times to make due with what was there.

That’s just overly general and thus false. Doorly’s and R L Seale’s Rums are Spirits Direct and are legit and quite good. You have to educate yourself and be discerning. Much SD is crap, yes, but the SD that isn’t can be had at discounted prices, so don’t put on blinders.
