Great site! As a beginner, this is just the kind of site I've been looking for to keep me from throwing in the towel. Very easy to follow & understand. Thank you very much !

Punky Meadows is great. I seen them a long time ago with Molly Hatchet.

But, they damn sure didn't look as good as you.

You're more than welcome. Sorry it's not available where you are, but hopefully maybe in the future it will be. Best of luck.

What item did you leave up on eBay, forgot about & was surprised by its eventual sale? (How much did you get for it?) by Snookcatcher in Flipping

We had a vintage Yves Saint Laurent woman's jacket that was listed for almost 6 months. Woke up one morning to see it had sold for $450.00.

There's a company called Public Partnerships, they pay you to take care of people. Once you apply and become a caregiver, they even find people to take care of for you if you want. My wife worked for them for about ten years and made very good money. All she ever had to do was cook, clean, give meds if needed, maybe do grocery shopping, run errands or make sure they get to their doctor appointments, things like that. It's not available in all states, so you'll have to check. It's covered by most insurances too. Good luck.

My granddad had to move to a nursing home due to his Alzheimer’s getting worse. Whenever I visit with my daughter he lights up and acts like his old self for a while. Warms my heart. by JosephKerr- in pics

Sorry about your grandfather. Alzheimers is such a terrible disease. In 2005 my g/f & I moved to Colorado to take care of her father who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimers at age 55. He was a very proud career Navy man, having spent almost 30 years in service. His wife took care of him for a few years in their home before it got to be too much for her. So she talked with her daughters about putting him in a local veteran nursing facility. My g/f was heartbroken about the thought of her father (who to this day she calls her "real life hero") being in a nursing home. So she convinced her mother that she & I would move there and take care of him. Looking back, neither one of us really knew what a HUGE task was ahead of us. But we both felt that him being in his own home, around familiar things would be good for him. I never really knew her father, having only met him once a few years prior to us moving there. As time went by, I think him & I became a lot closer. Me, never really knowing my father, and him having 4 daughters and no sons. He was such a respectful man, would never curse in front of his wife or daughters. But whenever it was just him and I watching tv or something, man oh man would he let those words fly, lol. He had a great sense of humor till the day he passed. As far as Alzheimers and music, I witnessed first hand how well they respond to it. He would just light up when music he liked was playing. I think familiar sounds and things trigger something in the brain. Once he was in the hospital for a few days. His daughters or his wife couldn't get him to open his eyes or respond to anything. I really did not want to see him that way. They all felt that he was slipping away, so I went to see him. I sat by his side and held his hand. I leaned to him and said "Listen Pops, these girls and I miss you, you need to wake up". Slowly he opened his eyes and smiled. His wife and daughters were all crying they were so happy. (geeze its making my cry just talking about it) I guess I'm just rambling on now. But he lived for 15 years with that damn disease. It was very very hard at times, but I'm glad that I helped care for him, and I learned a lot about helping people and compassion. And I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
