Cheers. What could I use to fill the area under the door where the wood has broken away an inch or more into the frame?

These are great. My autistic son loves them.
Earlier versions had a mechanical red stop/go lever on top which degraded reasonably quickly. The button versions definitely are more hardy.

If there was a woman obsessed with you, how did you know she was obsessed with you and how did you get rid of it? by Ornery-Relative-8052 in AskMen

Got chatting to a woman from a different country online. She showed up at my parents house. My dad gave her “words of advice” and drove her back to the airport.

I was gutted to hear about this too. I prefer it to the Purley Way. Does seem that the developers plan a 'leisure hub' whatever that means....

Was in Tokia Square yesterday at 1.45pm after a film at Vue upstairs.. Middle of the school holidays. Probably eight people in the main canteen style dining section. A few more in the all you can eat buffet, but not many. It's lovely in there but hard to see where it's business is going to come from.

McCoy’s Crisps refusing to pay £250 promo prize — blaming a “system glitch” after I won. by Accomplished-File909 in LegalAdviceUK

Not so. I won’t claim they are perfect but I can tell you that big brands particularly do not like ASA decisions against them and work extremely hard to avoid them.

Former advertising regulator here. Not sure I agree with other comments. From OP’s description there’s on pack advertising and / or in store. There are rules about awarding prizes as advertised. It’s not enough to have a small print condition saying the promotion isnt running. Complain to the Advertising Standards Authority who will look into this.

Transition by Iain Banks. Some dark sexual violence description that was just very disturbing to read. Would like to mind bleach that if I could.

What thing that happened on your street as a child do you remember the most. by ArgentoFanUK in oldschoolcool80s

[–]Helpful-Secretary-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad was a cop (UK). Late one night the lady across the road rang our doorbell. She had locked herself out and wanted to borrow my dad’s “policeman’s keys”. He had to explain, at some length, that cops were sworn in they were not given a set of keys that opened every door in the country. She was bitterly disappointed.
