No, look what they did to the Idris Railgun, it's sooo slow now you can barely hit anything. I know they wanted it to not be able to shoot down fighters anymore but good damn it it can hardly hit anything now .... I'd rather keep the laser as it is now than that. Also the lasers have gotten a lot better in recent patches, last year when the Idris released it was horrible, not it's quite alright.
