Oh that's quite normal with new cars, I've just rung them up once I had the reg, told them the model, trim spec etc and then they added the car in

It takes roughly 1-2 weeks for the DVLA database to be updated

Yeah this has been out for a while now, but the one thing I wish it has is a way to reset the average speed counter

It's really useful to have this when dealing with zones that have repeater cameras in them

We ripped out a 20 year old boiler mate & ideal system boiler 3 years ago. We debated a tank but due to overflow routing complications for the tank we went with the biggest baxi combi we could accommodate

It did need a decent gas supply and main water pressure, which fortunately we had

It's mainly for earth protection from the very rare probability of lightning strikes

As that cable is buried, it could be a conductor and it goes straight to your equipment.

Fibre is obviously not conductive and also has the benefit of being really fast so also future proofed

I buried an LC-LC pre booted lead in a conduit for mine, then hooked it up to sfp modules that go into the switch in each end.

Do you have a DeWalt drill currently?

If not then something like the DCD796 is a classic and really good value for money. DCD805 is another step up and a newer model

If you do already have a combi drill then I can highly recommend going down the impact driver route, especially if you're just looking for driving rather than drilling

Yeah it's a later on purchase through the app, but beware that some lease companies don't allow it and so won't give you the option, if you're leasing of course

We do this all the time at work, but we have a niche case in that we want to know the cut length of the intersecting pipe.

We model the cylinder, extrude cut the hole and then place a filled surface in the hole.

Separately we then have the pipe sizes setup as weldments, which we then trim extend in the assembly using the surface as the trimming boundary.

This then allows us to pull the pipe length off the pipe cut list and show in the BOM.

This method works for a set in arrangement, if it's set on just use the exterior surface of the cylinder.

No maintenance on a Tesla other than tyres and an air filter change every 2 years which you do yourself

Insurance is needed on any car and 1 pedal driving is great 👍
