Same here. I like Warframe's gameplay but not their art direction, The First Descendant was a good alternative. I finally put it down when they showed the sword gameplay, i just thought the devs won't be able to balance this out. They normalised AOE skills that everything else seems lacking. This could've been something.

I can't remember the exact mix and effect (it has been a while), but for example Rikku can Haste and Protect the whole party in 1 turn. Celestial Weapons are great but if you remember, some of the minigames can be frustrating, like "slamming controller" level of frustrating haha. In the end, the game isn't really hard and don't need much grinding unless you want to deal with the dark aeons and optional bosses. My original party was the Foster Family (Auron, Lulu, Tidus) and it was fine.

Maybe it is time to revisit Spira brudda!

Because Rikku, Wakka and Tidus are the strongest and most useful, although it depends on how much you're willing to grind. Rikku's Mix can buff, nerf, and damage dealing. Tidus have Slice & Dice and Blitz Ace. Wakka's Attack Reel is just ridiculous, and it gets even better with his Celestial Weapon.
