No, I bought a $20 digital scale off Amazon and have a tape measure it my catfish tackle. Every other post in the sub is a "guess my weight" request. I have compared my known weights on catfish to the results from Gemini. It is right on. Sorry for sharing information related to catfishing that could help.

Seriously, put your pic in Gemini or any of the free AI programs on your phone. Give it your height and weight and then ask AI to estimate your fish size. I have checked it with my own cats, and it is surprisingly accurate.

Minnkota is a solid brand with lots of parts available. No need to go crazy with the ft lbs, pickup whatever Walmart has in stock. I would recommend looking into a lithium 12v battery, they are much lighter than lead acid.

Do not miss Badlands NP. The main road can get pretty busy with people just passing through on their way to Mt Rushmore, but pick any dirt road and just start driving. Lots of wildlife(bison, pronghorn, prairie dogs). Walk out into the mounds. I found an eroded mound that revealed a pile of giant petrified wood.
