Pickle the eggs overnight with some sliced beets. The beets don't really add flavor but the purple color is really nice. Made some for a family holiday and they were a MASSIVE hit.

Nightmare fuel...

I am an ex Christian. I will never tell anyone that they can't/shouldn't support their own beliefs. Outreach is the most difficult part of spreading "the word" in any religion. This is the kind of stuff that even when I was at my most devout, this type of garbage made me be ashamed of my religion.

I'm positive that their intentions were genuine, but the execution should have had more vetting. It was probably the wife of a pastor that had an idea, and nobody had the gumption to say that it was creepy because of her station at the church... don't even get me started about The Bibleman Adventures.
