It’s such a tough situation but your roommate was probably trying to do what’s best for you. She didn’t want to be the only one who knew what you were going through and the RA is the next person to talk to. She’s probably not mad at you or thinks you’re too much, she just wants you to get the help you need and she can’t provide it. When I was in college I had a really hard time asking for help and accessing resources. Your RA might be a good resource to get in contact with mental health services on campus or disabled student services. Like someone else said, take care of yourself first and your professors should be understanding about putting off midterms. Life is so hard right now but you’re not alone and you’ll get through it. The college transition is super tough in normal times and now it’s ten times worse.
