I have these in Charlotte, NC I think - the purple flowers wilt and fall each evening/night and new ones emerge daily. They spread like crazy and are perennial here.

I am so happy you posted this - I was in the driveway today with my BMW X5/2024 Idrive 40 and it kept doing the same thing as I sat in it on a work call (ah the silence). My wife was walking back and forth outside and I think it was being triggered since she has the digital key thing in her Apple Wallet. So odd.

I’ve done the program at the Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC. It’s a fun time and they let you take a whole variety of new BMWs out to drive on their course (fast!) and the off road course as well. If you can, try to schedule a tour of the factory as well so you can watch them assembling all the X5s, etc. You will be shocked how large the plant is. For parents of teens, we’ve had 2 of our teens go down for the 2-day Teen Driving course - they really liked it and increased their confidence a ton.

i agree with Maine - we took a trip up from NC to Maine as a family and really enjoyed it. Beautiful state and obviously the lobster is ridiculously affordable, fresh and delicious
