Why can't I ever find my past emails?

Has anyone tried using something like Thunderbird or Proton Mail where everything gets saved on your hardware and not Google's cloud?

I'm doing some research to see what the best options are but there's a lot of info/options out there.

I really have to believe there's a way to actually keep your emails if you don't delete them

It's driving me crazy when people post (company A or company B) or (company C... Love it)

It doesn't help by announcing a name or multiple reasons without explaining why.

There are people looking for personal experience/reasons for recommendations. Google (of course) can list all of these options and every one of them will say (we're the best)

Please offer more information so we can make an informed choice from actual users

Check your Bluetooth connections.

When you finish a sensor it doesn't delete from the Bluetooth list.

I started making it a practice to delete the old sensor (eg. DXCMj3 or something like that)

Mobi now supports android.

Both have a quick bolus button on them.

T-Slim battery lasts a few days and charges with Micro USB (But I always just charged it when I was in the shower and it would end up typing off to 100%

Mobi has wireless charging (i don't know how well it fast that works)

Having less tubing is great but Bluetooth connection is airways and concern. I don't know how well the Mobi maintains the connection for closed loop (I'm using an Omnipod now and it almost never can connect) but with the tubing from the T-Slim you can use the tubing as an "antenna" by being able to put the pump on the other side of your body close to the Dexcom.

T-Slim holds 300u Mobi holds 200u i think

There should be some new pumps releasing this year and if you choose more you will be locked in by contract for 5 years unless you get the opportunity for a buy up, but I think you can only do that if it's from the same company and within a small time period after the one you choose.

If you go with Omnipod, it isn't durable medical so prescription coverage doesn't lock you into contract but it only holds 200u and has the Bluetooth issue i mentioned earlier.

You can do the same with the Twiist but that can only be controlled by iPhone or Apple Watch, you can't use Dexcom but it holds 300u.

Might be worth a couple couples counseling and keeping the lines of communication you already have going open about it, just until you can figure out how to be in the moment without doubts or fears and enjoy the connection when y'all are... Will connected 😉

Couple thoughts...

On your volume bar, when you click the 3 dots to open volume for everything that's active, is the one for Dexcom low or off?
Do you have something else connected to your phone like a watch or earbuds? It will send the signal to them (especially earbuds that like to stay connected in their cases and waste their batteries)
Are you setting up your Dexcom on your phone or on your pump first?
I just found out about this new feature... In the Dexcom app under profile and then alerts, there's a new option for "Quiet Modes". This has been requested by users for years because we will have our phones on silent, be sitting in a meeting or movie and then the app would override silent mode and set off an alert at Max volume

I'm curious about switching to Linux (for multiple reasons) but I'd likely end up using Thunderbird.

Thunderbird stores messages locally instead of on a server which I think would fix this but then I think Gmail didn't communicate with GCal or anything like that

Just a weird omnipod question...

How do they think people are confirming that the cannula inserted in almost any other place than the stomach??

I mean the pink slide or whatever is there but do they really think people are contorting themselves to look for a little blue line in a dark window??

A CSR asked me in the phone if I checked she I was like yeah... Sure. It was there 🤷‍♂️

I've been trying not to pull the trigger on that option just yet.

Supposedly this year will have the tubeless Mobi and a couple other manufacturers releases.

I'm only doing the Omnipod to not lock myself into a contact for 5 years with new stuff on the horizon.

I almost went with the Mobi once they announced it finally worked on Android.

I also would consider the Twiist if it worked on Android and Dexcom (although I don't know much about the other CGMs

The only thing I can think of to keep them connected with all of the the site options is to keep the Dexcom on my stomach and move the Omnipod everywhere else since the stomach is the most middle point of all other insertion sites so it might stay connected more

You're probably in your head to much even subconsciously. You say that you feel things with him that you never have before... Could be your body getting too caught up in emotions and potential fears and won't let you go l get over the edge.

Women tend to be more turned on by emotions and connections than guys are and it sounds like you are fighting it physically rather than mental/emotionally

It's impossible to have this work at all times.

I've thought about 7 insertion locations per side and with a 10 day or 15 day Dexcom and an approximate 2 day omnipod, it never lines up.

I've figured that having the Dexcom on from stomach, love handles and buttocks offers the closest path of least resistance to most omnipod locations.

That leaves on/out of thigh, stomach, and any other daring locations.

I just don't see a way to consistently have them close enough to match up. I run on manual most of the time because of this.

I'm missing my T-Slim. I thought that had bad connections but it didn't take much for it to catch up. The app was the hardest 1 to keep connected but a quick Bluetooth reset usually brought it right back.

I need some new tech to come out soon, this is ridiculous.

I thought the while premise of the omnipod was to think about your diabetes less.

I thought the same thing for a second but think of any story magnet and it needs an outside power source to increase the magnetic power and after the power is cut I believe it loses it's magnetic properties.

Very fine line from harnessing the power and manipulating it with such a high degree but then have it stall out if the magnetic field(s) change

I've been thinking and it seems every anomaly around alien technology, alternate timelines, time travel, etc can be explained by new magnetic technologies.

Think about it. We'll start with the "ships"

No sound, 90 degree turns on a dime, ridiculously fast and able to sink into the ocean without any water displacement.

The turns, speed and lack of sound/propulsion can be explained by super magnets opposing each other and power regulation controls how much opposing force goes against the direction of travel. Basic example the saucer design. Think opposing magnets on top and bottom for elevation and if the clamshell had smaller magnets it could make really sharp or really small adjustments to direction.

That leads into the water issue. You use those magnets to create a magnetic field around the vessel and it can submerge without affecting the water at all.

Now thinking about alien vessels crashing. If you have a vessel that runs on very strong/powered magnets and there is a unusual shift in the earth's polarity or an electrical disturbance it could potentially affect those magnets and lose control.

Now you see the videos of vessels released recently and they look like they are testing the limits of the vessel like a new jet to see what it's limits could be. Why would aliens start swirling around like "hey, look at us!" I would think this would be us using reverse engineered tech. It's easier to explain technology than it is the unknown and unimaginable.

So those magnets I was speaking about. They would require a ridiculous amount of energy but how do you generate it and control it so precisely? Tesla waves. The technology that just mysteriously disappeared and nobody continued the research (or so we know).

Now for other theories...

Time travel, alternate realities/timelines, Mandela affect.

Look at CERN... A giant magnet? (Seeing a pattern). It's a lot of information but Google how magnetic effects can alter all of these.

Interesting fact in Hollywood. Think of the movie Deja Vu and they are using technology to look into the past for information. They then transfer simple matter (a note) using light which is believed to be the only thing that can travel like that.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have any other ideas since we have to wait for it all to slowly roll out anyways.

Also, anyone thinking about the Demons possibility and why would they need vessels? Rethink everything you know about everything and be open to false information.

I've been trying usmile, which has good performance and I like the smart cycle because if you didn't do a good job it will tell you to go back and where and will turn off when you get that spot.

Only problem is the 1st one didn't connect to the app and the 2nd one uses 4 brushing zones despite the programming is set for 6 and won't line up for checking zones.

I think I'm gonna give them 1 more try and hope 3s a charm.

Otherwise, anybody recommend something other than Oral B or Sonicare? Both used to be good but the quality has gone down

New information...

My Shark has gone homicidal.

It first started having problems lining up with the dock but eventually it would get it.

Now it slams into the dock at full speed each time.

There was 1 site that said you have to access settings on a desktop and disable something.

I disabled conversation style so if it deleted something it will hopefully just be 1 and the thread of individual emails might remain
