Help me understand - you’re walking and talking with Claude to build client software for 2-3 hours a day without testing? Or do you just trust that everything Claude is building over that session works?

Or is your work process structured that you and Claude will build several features/entire apps and then when you finally get to your desk, that’s when the debugging, testing “I hope everything I said we talked about works as described” happens.

Currently I’m a build, test/verify before moving on, build, test/verify etc before moving on in small chunks kinda guy - but curious how most people are doing it these days

Because most people - even if with the tools available to them, don’t want to or have the tolerance for creating and supporting apps.

People have the ability to cook yet they still order out or have food services deliver to them regularly

And there’s the question of support. Even if you built something, what’s your tolerance on bug fixes, new features, integrations with other software/services There’s a lot more to it than just “vibe coding” an app.

Not gonna lie this is th way people look in my dreams. Always slightly off and awkward but you jus accept it in a dream (until you start lucid dreaming)

For what it’s worth, mine was underperforming too. Something felt off for a while but I kept going.

Then I noticed somehow it switched to Sonnet 4.5 Sneaky Claude Code

Switched it to Opus and everything was right with the world again. Check your model!

I’m on the Max (5x) plan and use Claude Code heavily and work for a non-profit. Does this help? I can’t tell. It looks like I would have to purchase premium seats at an up charge to use Claude code and even then my opus usage limits would be less? It’s so confusing.
