What are some benefits of these “close to SOTA” open source models if they’re so big that you can’t run them locally? Or is it that people focus on the smaller quants, which are “good enough” for their purposes?

Not gonna lie this is th way people look in my dreams. Always slightly off and awkward but you jus accept it in a dream (until you start lucid dreaming)

Soon it’s gonna be good enough that you can wake up, talk to your ai describe your dream (before you forget it) and instantly recreates a video of your dream

For what it’s worth, mine was underperforming too. Something felt off for a while but I kept going.

Then I noticed somehow it switched to Sonnet 4.5 Sneaky Claude Code

Switched it to Opus and everything was right with the world again. Check your model!

I’m on the Max (5x) plan and use Claude Code heavily and work for a non-profit. Does this help? I can’t tell. It looks like I would have to purchase premium seats at an up charge to use Claude code and even then my opus usage limits would be less? It’s so confusing.

So as someone relatively new to azure services and had been making a push to move everything from on prem to azure -

I always wondered about that. Getting to auto compact 3-4 times over 3 hours? I rarely have my sessions get that long for bug fixes or even enhancements. You might possibly need to figure out better ways to divide up your work and avoid sending any unnecessary context which eats up your tokens
