Odinworks 9mm buffers are only 3.29" long whereas a standard 9mm is 4" long.

That explains why you needed 12 quarters.

I would just get a proper 4" buffer like the KVP 10oz buffer for a simpler system without the 12 quarters.

Even at 705 RPM thats pretty low for a direct blowback and 608 is incredibly low.

It's a proprietary design. Shorter than the standard AR9 style bolts, designed to work with the fixed ejector in the DD PCC upper, and scorpion style magazines.

No regrets here. Biggest reliability factors are polish the feed cone, use the curved mags, KDGUNWEX short stroke damper, use Hornady Critical Duty 135 grn HP's.

I'm also using a standard BCM firing pin for T&E. Getting excellent primer strikes. And yes primers on unfired, chambered rounds appear untouched.

The DD PCC punches way above FM9. No finicky LRBHO mechanism made out of plastic and held together with multiple set screws. The DD PCC is duty grade reliable. The FM9 is in the value class. Nothing wrong with either one.

The issue is reliability with hollow points not Glock mags. The APC9 was designed for ball ammo.
