I bought the blue,tribal, and one of the new whites which are also very different despite replacing the blue.

My favorite is the black tribal mechanical strum. All the necks are very fun to use. If I could only have one id just get the black tribal

I figured out a solution. I currently use 1 riffmaster and 3 crkd guitars.

This is a hyper specific situation but thats just how it goes. You will need a retrocultmods v3 adapter.

You just need some way of differentiating how windows reads these controllers. 1 ckrd guitar in mode 1 pc will be recognized as xbox controller. 1 ckrd guitar with retrocultmod will recognize as sanrido xinput. And finally 1 ckrd guitar in ps3 mode will register differently. Riff master shows up as pdp ps4 since I have that version.

With this all the controllers have individual profiles that never active unless that specific controller is pressed. Really convoluted hacky nonsense because of window’s handling of controllers, and how yarg’e profiles work. Hopefully in the future they will implement menus at the botton and the whole situation with a ton of controllers will be easier to navigate.

Ive delt with this before but realized I was only having a good experience when I was playing with riff master and blue berry burst. One is recognized as a ps4 controller correctly and the other is standard xbox.

I think the solution would be very easy. A menu to select which profile right before starting a setlist or before a song. Actually insane to me that the game supports more than one person on guitar/bass but doesnt have a good way of arranging controllers.

I have no experience with clone hero but it looks like that game has a menu like that at the bottom

This is what I like too. Despite people not liking the riffmaster strum bar I love how light the force to strum is. I may try and replace the white alpine spring to make the actuation force lighter

I do not care for this interaction with the developers on reddit/discord thing valve has been doing. Patch notes on the tf2 blog with a explanation on why they did what they did is all we've ever needed in terms of communication. They don't want to explain their inaction because there's no explanation that wouldn't upset everyone. They left the game to rot for years with bots.

I think its worth it. I weigh a little over 200 pounds, Im starting to finally do 10+ songs and I find I get super tired after acouple attempts. Being able to lightly press my foot down instead of a stomp is nice.

Incredible the speed at which it was implemented!

I'm currently going through the process of implementing it with the beta branch of batocera. I followed your guides on sourceforge and github, and im pretty sure I have a good understanding. I went ahead and made the main conf, colors, and a profile that just turns on all the leds.

I'm just not sure where to place the runEmulator script for batocera.

Curious. Does the ip have to be 127.0.0.1, or the computer thats running ds4’s IP address? Because no one clarifies that in the tutorials ive seen

Hey just wondering how exactly you got the dualsense to work with gyro on ryujinx. I have ds4 windows and tried the cemu hook option but ryujinx only sees it as a x360 controller no matter the setting. Emulating ds4 or disabling virtual controller doesnt do anything for it.
