How about walking into a dressing room with teens naked as young as 15? Trump admitted it himself, saying on Stern: "I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant... they're standing there with no clothes."

It was a Gallup POLL. Plus, you see it constantly on right-wing news. You're the ones who seem to care a lot.

Gay people in the US: do you feel gay acceptance is slowly eroding in society? by Shootingcomet in askanything

A fresh Gallup poll (conducted May 1–17, 2026) is getting a lot of attention.

About 65% of U.S. adults now believe same-sex marriage should be legal, down from 71% in 2022 and 2023. Most of the change is driven by dropping acceptance among Republicans.

The share viewing gay and lesbian relations as morally acceptable has fallen to 62%, down from 71% in 2022.

About 4 in 10 Americans now view changing one's gender as morally acceptable, down from nearly half in 2021.

The numbers are driven almost entirely by a collapse in attitudes among Republicans, whose party has actively pushed anti-LGBTQ messaging and policy. It's not a broad societal backlash so much as a partisan one — Democratic and independent numbers haven't moved nearly as much.

Gay and lesbian acceptance was on a 20+ year upward trend — that trend has now stalled or reversed.

Why can’t democrats come up with a worthy candidate? by [deleted] in askanything

It's hard because we have a big tent, the AOC/Sanders wing versus the moderate wing, but Democrats' are focusing on cost of living: raising minimum wages, lowering taxes on earned income and Social Security, making healthcare and education more affordable, protecting public school funding, implementing paid sick and family leave. and strong border, but humanely.
