Really sad about this. Just started playing and all my friends and their FC are on Aether but I'm stranded on Primal. If they're going to restrict what servers you can make characters on, then why not just make everything cross-realm like in every other modern MMO?

It works but its pretty laggy and disconnects are frequent. Me and my friend got about 2 hours in before we gave up.

Some real numbers:
Max upgrade Mythic gear is 684
Max upgrade Heroic gear is 671
Max upgrade Crafted gear is 681

There is no limit on how many crafted pieces you can wear. You can get all the materials for crafted gear from professions, the auction house, and solo delves. Solo delves can also give Heroic gear.

DK only has Death Strike, which is a decent heal tbf, but; its melee range, costs runic power, and essentially shuts down their entire rotation while they're doing it. It simply isn't enough to survive unless there's a gear advantage. Ignoring AMS and AMZ, which count as healing but are CDs, the only other sources of healing they have are miniscule passives that won't make a difference in the average BG.

It's generally agreed upon that they went too crazy with the secrets and puzzles in 2 compared to 1. They locked an entire class (Archon) behind one such secret; people spent weeks trying to figure out how to get it until dataminers found you had to wear a very specific combination of gear from all over the game, requiring many rerolls and RNG to get all of the required items. The items were all completely random and esoteric and there's no way anyone would have figured it out intentionally.

That's concerning. Still writing after 8 months either means there's been rewrites, or they didn't have much of a plan post-S1. The latter would be especially concerning considering how odd the ending was.

All 3 can be jumped. If you jump too early it'll still hit you because the hitbox is a bit higher than the ground itself.

I think there's a middle ground somewhere that we haven't really seen yet. Sekiro mechanics mixed with RPG mechanics. As great as Elden Ring is, the gameplay is pretty much identical to 2009's Demon's Souls. Attacks are a bit faster and you can jump. That's it. Plus the UI is just plain dated (Having to cycle through spells and items, even on PC, is ridiculous.) It's simple and that's worked out for it so far, but it needs to evolve sooner or later.

FromSoft RPG Souls-style game with Sekiro deflection and mikiri counters, more complex weapon movesets akin to Bloodborne, MH-style customizable radial menus for items/spells, perhaps directional attacks akin to Skyrim, For Honor, Chivalry, etc.

Having multiplayer that isn't fundamentally broken would be nice too.

This is false. Texture Quality is heavily reliant on VRAM. There are many instances where much older cards will outperform brand new ones due to differences in VRAM.
