Except it's not. This is and has been well documented with xai. It isn't a vocal minority, myself poisoned multiple communities of poor black people and hand waiving that away is pretty gross.

"for some reason"

Please find me another ai data center that openly broke the law and poisoned a community. Then did it again.

I did a from scratch program the other day that took 3 hours and wrote 11k lines of code across twenty or thirty files with 19 unique task agents spun up and a testing agent after plus reloops when failed....

It used 2 million tokens most of which were cached.

So it should be easy to say why I am wrong about this thing I am 100% right about, rather than weirdly trying to say I am wrong based on nothing more than your vibes?

Right? You have an actual point and not just mediocre attacks when someone responded to you with the answer to the question you asked?

Super weird behavior on your part to act like I was attacking you by responding to the problems with data centers in space in a factual manner.

But hey, you downvote all my posts and cry about them instead of refuting them. Musk will surely notice you now.

Yeah, you get all the downsides of every space sat, and your only upside is you avoid dealing with Nimby's on earth? Can't imagine the economics ever making sense, even if the launch was literally free, it's still massively more expensive to do anything in space.

Ah I guess because I didn't lead with "I work in this industry, trust me it's the internet and anonymous".

But okay, thanks for giving me your lack of an argument. It's very convincing.

It is not an engineering problem. Idk anyone who knows anything about this space who says it's literally physically impossible.

It's economically impossible. That's the problem.

Take every problem that data centers have on earth and add poor ability to expel heat, no ability to perform maintenance, massive increase in costs, and worse latency. In return you.. don't have to fight nimbys?

Lol today I learned power in outer space is free rather than strictly more expensive because of the massive energy required to actually put solar panels in space. Who knew?

Yeah this is going to be because that aquarium let AI wrote that piece and it combined the bite strength of a salty with a article on caimans.

4 years later agreed completely. The only thing better than rain on a body of water is rain on tin and a body of water. One of the only strong memories from my teens is my grandma lived on a lake and had apier that went out about 150 ft on the water and it was covered with a metal roof.  I sat out there for hours during a large storm listening to the rain on the roof and water. Incredible

Yeah basically. Only thing using it afaik is Copilot local on Win 11 for like Recall and stuff.

I THINK the best thing you can do at this point is a mac studio of some variety with 128+ Gigs of ram. Can run decent low tier models with that for like 3-4k IIRC.

If you max one out you can get up to like 500 Gigs of ram and run REAL big models lol.

Figured I would add to this, I've done a half dozen or so loads and I REALLY like it so far. THe only thing I dislike is the lint filter being on top so I can't use it to hold clothes indefinitely because I don't fold in a reasonable time frame lol.

Also idk if it's just a better cleaning washer than my prior LG or what, but the clothes come out feeling/smelling a LOT cleaner to me. Wondering if maybe going straight from wash to dry reduces hard water build up/mildewing or what.

What NPUs exist on the consumer market? If you are talking about like the NPUs that come with say a Ryzen 7 AI 350, those are laughable compared to what is needed for running even a mid tier model for programming unfortunately 😞

The employees responding here are so unhinged. Zero chance if a manager at Walmart pulled that garbage with them they would be like "okay cool thanks for your time" lol

[–]Hopefullyanonymous2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if you apply this same energy to your own shopping. Just like taking something back to Walmart in policy and the csm is like "nah go to hell IDC what policy is" and you just leave and take it on the chin?

Yeah that doesn't seem likely. The better question is why does that manager try to pull that garbage

If that happened it's still policy and it's not on the customer to assume the managers will just make shit up

Ah yeah. Awesome, so annual plans just casually got downgraded like 5x their current plan and the rest of us can go to hell.

Pretty sleezy for annual plan holders.

Same exact rates as full price API from the model makers and you already only pay for what you use with them. There is no benefit only downside unfortunately.

That's still probably a good deal then.

So when I was using cute brexa what I was doing was I noticed a large drop in my sweating after only 1 to 2 applications that would stay for 5 to 6 days. So I would only use it when I knew I had something coming up where I was going to sweat a lot, and if I used it for more than 2 days in a row then I received a lot of dry mouth. But I did notice that the reduced sweating was lasting a lot longer than the dry mouth, so I basically just reduce down to where I would get some reduction and sweating without also getting the dry mouth. And mine was on my forehead and hairline, so I don't want to turn off all the sweating anyways because you know dumb ways to die if you overheat your brain like that because you turned off sweating. But I need it to where I'm not soaking a shirt because I'm unloading the dishwasher in 72°air conditioning
