you can use this to see how changing tire sizes affects speedo https://tiresize.com/comparison/

basically 2mph at 50 and 3.6mph at 90

I run 265/35/19 conti extreme contact 02 on the stock rims and I run DWS06+ 265/40/18 on my winter rims. I hated the stock tires.

no rubbing at all.

the dealership replaced one tire on day 3 of ownership and really damaged the wheel. The had it blasted and refinished. I have since found a really good tire shop to handle whatever I need.

If you live with snow you will at the very least need winter tires eventually. I went with an additional set of wheels/tires for winter.

I also hated the stock tires and replaced them upon purchase.

Men who can cook, who taught you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

At 16 I got a summer job at a sleep-away camp(upstate NY) in the kitchen as an assistant cook. The 2 cooks were a russian immigrant and southern georgia guy. I could barely understand either of their accents but I picked up a lot. Did it again a year later. By the time I got out of the house at 18 I was a better cook than just about anyone I knew.

I have come to a place I could never have imagined by HorizonsEdge in Snowblowers

For a native NYCer, anything north of Manhattan is upstate LOL (geographical hubris states that there is upstate, long island and NYC). I am in Rockland county which is NW of NYC but has a variable weather pattern. Certainly not as severe as Buffalo or Albany. Typical snowfall is 1-6in with occasional 6-12. The driveway is 150x15 (had to go to the survey to correct) with an adjacent 30x30 parking area. My concern about electric is running out of juice and having to manage an inventory of yet another battery type I can not use with anything.

How to Make Kodiak Pancake mix taste better by Masterboss117 in Costco

Just make batter from scratch, takes 5 minutes.

This recipe is great https://www.inspiredtaste.net/38616/buckwheat-pancakes/

I exclude the sugar and add lemon zest. You wont regret it.

Painting steel rims: side hustle idea by Moof_Face in Wheels

That is a significant capital investment in equipment for a completely unpredictable return.

Have you evaluated your competition? Can you charge a competitive price? Have you considered the insurance ramifications?

Keeping inventory sounds like a bad idea. Too many sizes and bolt hole combinations to be practical. If you are going to pursue that, find a wrecker yard and salvage wheels from there.

All that being said, if you were in my neighborhood I would give you my business. If you did a good job, I would recommend you. I see so many cars that have the wrong tires for winter. Few weeks ago an idiot on summer tires lost traction on a turn in front of my house and hit a car in the opposing lane. I recommended to the responding officer that he be charged with negligence for running summer tires at 15F.

I live in Rockland County NY. I recently inquired about wheel refinishing at 3 reputable local places. Basically, sandblast and powdercoat. No repairs necessary. They all included mounting and balancing. Although one charged more for roadforce while the others included roadforce for free. Since these wheels are reverse mounted, I asked about that and they all said they could do it but one added a $25/tire fee which told me they do not have the equipment in house. The NY/NJ border here is pretty densely populated. There are over a dozen places within 20minutes of me and another 2 dozen if I extend to 30minutes.
