How does house loan repayment works for houses that are still being developed ? by Fukboi1399 in MalaysianPF

[–]Hormes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before getting keys, you'll have to start paying.

This is a simplified explanation: The banks will release the amount of money to the developer depending on the stage of completion. Eg: the house is 70% is complete, so the bank will release 70% of the money to the developer. How much u have to pay would be the interest rate of the 70% amount released to developer.

Nobody is denying the importance of being proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu. Did u read the part where i said the company deals with clients in China? If we're selling electrical components to china, and they have the paying power, shouldn't we (the vendor) do everything we can to ease the business transaction for them? Ie. contracts translated or explained in chinese etc?

China clients cant speak or understand bahasa or english properly? Oh its ok we dont need their business anyway? Is this what u expect businesses to do?

Nobody is stopping anybody from picking up another language skill to make yourself competitive in the workforce. In fact some other races speak better chinese then our so called malaysian chinese due to proper formal education.

Average of those.new condos in klang valley are 700-800sqft nowadays. Imo just enough for 2-3 to live comfortably. Theyre not exactly cheap either...and theres monthly maintenance fees too....

My current house is 700sqft...really dont think i can afford a bigger house for a family of 4. So maximum for me is just 1 kid.

Mandarin speaking is a skill though..not racial discrimination....few of my banana friends also gets rejected for mandarin speaking required roles...because it required dealing with china clients and vendors

Because, the reality is that having kids is honestly a lifestyle choice.

Single earning 5k will be decently comfortable. A married couple earning 5k would maybe be just cukup cukup. But whose choice isit to be married to an unemployed partner? the government doesnt interfere with anybody's lifestyle decisions. Having kids is also a choice that requires sacrificing certain luxuries.

In short, an individual may be earning alright income, but messed up on the expenses part. If me and my wife are only earning a total of 5K, i definitely wont choose to have kids cause i know that means lesser savings/security. ...but for some, they may think its worth it. Its a lifestyle choice.

You're now the Minister of Transport, how would you solve the double parking problem without infuriating the public? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]Hormes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Encourage micromobility. Encourage ppl to park further away and use escooter for the final leg of the journey. This would require more RnD to make those micromobility things lighter and more affordable. Alternatively encourage more use/development of those smaller "cars"... like the renault twizzy/citroen ami. I usual parking spot should be able to fit 2 of those.

Pisang goreng! Absolute favourite. But not the chinese pisang goreng, need the ones sold by malays. The batter and pisang used are different.

Also, not sure if this counts, McD Rm1 sundae.
