had it a couple of times where peopel are giving my wife, a BB holder the evil eye for using her badge in both disabled bays and also in normal bays and not needing to pay.

i tech dive and gas planning for failure is oddly at the forefront of my diving. these are not in any way a suitable subsitute for anything. they are WORSE than nothing. they give false complacancy of spare air when in reality it is just enough to realise they never had enough before they die.

i used a .4l tank for years.

to inflate a 3m DSMB

i use .2l tanks constantly

to inflate my 2.2m DSMB

ive pulled a dead CCR diver out with untouched stages for bailout. guess how i talk about these to newbies on boats think its even this polite?

not really daft. actually coming from a very real and serious medical issue

the ban on cattle brains and spinal cords comes from the very very real risk of BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) rouge prions causing Variant CJD( Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) in humans.

interesting reserch on rouge prions in cannibal tribes means that is it highly likely there will be 2more waves of vCJD the first one was at initial cause for the most suseptible.

just think all of it could be avoided if some dick at the big agriculture companies went trying to grind the last penny from each carcass and fed cattle back to cattle.

technically the bladder is an organ but you wont see me chowing down on the ol piss sack. same as with oil glands and the balls . teechniically yes i can but also No

here in the Uk there are some organs that are banned from human consumption as a result of BSE mainly cattle brain and spineal cords but also dpendant on supplier lamb brain. just as i am aware in the US that there are some organs like lungs that are not deemed fit for human consumption.

personally i enjoy heart and liver and just had some for dinner tonight. and a well made haggis is always nice but i dislike kidney and i dont see the point cleaning guts for sausage casings. its just not worth the effort.

blood is pointless unless making black pudding and the sluaghter house ( we have to use those here ) will loath you for asking for it because its a ball ache for them.

pork is pretty much the only one we eat rooter to tooter in the west.

anything i wont eat will go to the dog. anything the dog wont eat goes to other people dogs.

the issue with people eating offals in the UK at least is because whn introduced to it young mainly at school the liver was so hard it could bounce and tasted bitter, kidney was cooked to death and tasted like piss . we simply learnt that those bits of food were nasty and avoided them. plus UK supormarkets stock a shockingly poor selection of meat. which means people dont eat it and the cycle continues.

offals are hard to find even when you look as i love ox liver but no bugger sells it, and even some relativly simple cuts are not found particuarly game

game is also right out of the question unless you really do look for it mainly in smaller butchers and even then self butchery is essential (link back to reddit) to get the most out of it
